@ROBASEFR
No, seems there is no support for encrypted WPA2 enterprise in OSX with third party dongles http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/304552-make-works-wpa2-enterprise-with-usb-wireless-dongle/?do=findComment&comment=2111891

kmb97
Please read the topic and you will find the download url:in post85 http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/299948-usb-wifi-updated-ralinkmediatek-rt2870-rt2770-rt3x7x-rt537x-rt5572/page-5?do=findComment&comment=2105323 I am using the EDUP N8531 USB Wifi dongle. I would like to share that it's successfully working now!!!! I followed the latest download from above URL, went to mediatek site, downloaded the MT7610U driver and installed it without any configuration. It just worked! But few notes: - After the OS boots up, i had to unplug the USB and plug again to make it work - Install the Dlink prefpane 2.6.4, it will show up in System Perference, a better control panel to control the WiFi settings - My mac is Macbook (aluminum edition), 4GB ram, 128GBSSD, internal WiFi broken... Mac OS 10.10.3 installed - Only pain in the ass is that it yet to auto connect the wifi after each reboot, i have to unplug and plug in the USB WiFi to get it going Thanks a lot to those whom spent thier efforts in this page and packed things together!!! ArjunKaushik
I am using the Tenda n150 W311m wifi dongle. While the solution worked for me : Updated Ralink/Mediatek drivers for USB dongles released at 29/11/2013. MAVERICKS AND YOSEMITE COMPATIBLE Drivers downloaded from http://www.mediatek.com/en/downloads/usb-rt2870rt2770rt3x7xrt537xrt5572/ I made a zip file with oficial drivers and a preference pane from dlink that replace the oficial ralink wireless utility. This solve the problematic Ralink Wireless Utility that simply does not work on yosemite and the package doesn´t install the maverick kext in yosemite. ZIP CONTENTS DLINK PREFERENCE PANE INSTALATION Copy preference pane to \System\Library\PreferencePanes\ Copy kext for your MacOS version (use Maverick for Yosemite) to folder \System\Library\Extensions\ Repair permissions Rebuild kext cache Reboot. -- But using the latest kext from Mediatek website, also I had to add my product id to the .plist file since it didn't exist in the orignal. After about 15-20 mins, the USB port becomes inactive- Even if i plug out the dongle and put a pendrive in it, the USB does not read it. I have to restart my mac to get it working again. This issue only crops up when i am using the Tenda, no other USB device makes the port freeze up. Any suggestions as to what could be the reason? And how to fix it? endeavour79
Hi Guys, I just received my AWUS036NH which I believe has RA3070 chipset. I try to make it work with Yosemite 10.10.3, downloaded the drivers for 10.10 from Alfa. They installed and I can see the Mediatek Wifi Icon but I can't open the util nor can I see the adapter connected anywhere. Can you please help/guide me to get this adapter recognised and usable? Thanks so much, Cheers!
