I know about a flood in Italy.

You OK?

Ha ha, no all fine here. I'm building a tiny hack with Intel 4130 (haswell) Intel 4400 that I've successfully activated, but I'm fighting with the only two video cards I've at Home right now, a Radeon 5450 silent 1GB that doesn't seem to work, and now I'm going to try an NVidia GT 610. All that in Sierra. As soon I'll have done all my tests I'll do some modifications to the project, also why I need a that new hack.

At me too does not start HWMonitorSMC2.app without IPG.

Try this one:HWMonitorSMC2.app_IPG_optional.zip. Weak linking.

Temperature Package is XX.YY but the YY show always 00

What to say. Intel says to use double instead of int, so it is a question for them.

Finally I have both card working:

nvidia610.thumb.jpeg.9d267029d9bf9303c93f50b3c653ea6a.jpeg

This was my last chance today about discrete card and surpriseling work and metal is supported. Only performance statistics is not very helpfull in Sierra due to the lack of some thing that I hope in newer OSes show up....

mmmh, but is there any chances that this NVidia will work on mojave?

I did not compile, there were prebuilt binaries from the topic

I've said that because on sf, using 'make' actually will not compile the app w/o IPG framework.

If for testing with HWMonitorSMC2, it is especially important to do IQSV only.

but not what I looking for.

Weak-Linking version shows empty screen ((

Work on my 10.12.6 in dark mode. But yes in light mode has this problem. I'll fix it.

P.S.: r173 is really different thing, nothing to look more. Now I have to fix the actual which is new code but a lot better.

This is only for testing with HWMonitorSMC2, I don't care bad or not bad:D

Make sure that it doesn't escape your experiments.

GPU must be working only as a support for IQSV, this is how real Macs work. And that's how the majority of hackintosh community use it on desktop systems. I.e., IGPU works on "0 connector" framebuffer and doesn't appear in "About this Mac - Graphics/Monitors". But in this case IGPU would be visible in yours HWMonitorSMC2 app and IOReg.

The kext I'm working on is able to switch between the two (virtual AppleL/GMux/MUControllerr), so should I left this project?

The iGPU power or its utilization is what is needed to do an ipotetically automated switch. actually far from that.
