KTK1990
Hello everyone, I installed Yosemite Beta 3 yesterday and it worked just fine. Today I was working on it and shut down the VM as usual. A few hours later without changing anything I tried to boot up the VM and it starts to load as usual showing the progress bar but then the window goes black and I see a small sliver of gray (The progress bar) but it never moves and I believe it is from near the front of the progress bar. I have updated VMware Player to the latest version, tried multiple times, tried and let the VM sit for a hour and no luck. It is stuck at that screen and won't boot up. The host OS is Windows 7, I have a different OS X VM (Mavericks) and that works perfectly fine. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get the Yosemite VM to work again? Thanks. hellsguardianx
I had this same issue, and like you updated VMWare, my problem was I forgot to unlock it again after upgading. After using unlock-all-v130 again I could boot my VM again. Hope this helps you too!
