Thanks to @apianti - commit 2758: "fix bootscreen, prelude to custom boot screens" Use CloverGrower to compile yourself or @WarDoctor has compiled the latest here. dudenesspa
Used 2758 and added config key and it works but logo is smooshed a little vertically. Added screen resolution key and still a little smooshed. Thoughts?
bider
It's working now. I still don't like the black screen between 1st and 2nd boot phase (both logos are there, but the delay before the 2nd logo is around 5 seconds).

bider
did you applied the dsdt patch? Yeah. I really don't know why my display goes off for a fraction of a second. After that I have a black screen and then the 2nd logo shows up after few seconds. I suppose it may have something in common with intel hd graphics which I can't use because of my motherboard. I tried to force nvcap through dsdt and clover with no success. Any advice what dsdt patches should I use?
JahStories
can you try booting with your onboard graphic if applicable, and report back? thanks edit: oooppss sorry i'm noticing only now that you can't. :/

Strangely enough there is igpu key inside my dsdt. I read somewhere that different nvcap atribute may help, but I can't force the system to read one from dsdt or clover config.plist... JBud
Awesome job SunKi, Just a quick tip, to apply this, copy the logo (I'm using the white one for the black boot screen) png to your current theme's root directory For example: /Volumes/EFI/EFI/CLOVER/themes/bootcamp/ Then, backup your CLOVERX64.efi file: cp /Volumes/EFI/EFI/CLOVER/CLOVERX64.efi /Volumes/EFI/EFI/CLOVER/CLOVERX64.efi.backup then replace the original CLOVERX64.efi with the one SunKi provided. Very strange should it be be a clover issue ? Fred
FredWst
Out of interest how many of you drop OR use the Boot Graphics Resource Table (BGRT)? IMG_0992.jpg Dropping or not Dropping BGRT does not solve the issue. Fred

Very strange should it be be a clover issue ? Fred Hi Fred, I had very strange issues with the new setting for Yosemite and boot logo. It worked fine, but the payoff was that 10.9.4 showed just a black screen and NO LOGO. I tried all manner of things, and in the end I reloaded my Asus BIOS, and how/why I have no clue but both are fine now. How the BIOS affected the Clover boot logo I have no idea. Main thing both are fine now.
