Phil511
@iRanbirHD, Intel i73770 Ivy Bridge I believed for socket 1155. How do you install into a socket 775 MB? Is your computer running O.K.? No, I do not think I have haswell processor. In addition to that, where can I download the 2693 clover? @iRanbirHD, Intel i73770 Ivy Bridge I believed for socket 1155. warlikewings
Ok. Thanks. Would you be able to point me to a guide of how I can install Mavericks on the 540u3c?I'll search around a bit, but I haven't run across anything quite yet.
NSCXP2005
Cheers mate, thanks. I think the 530u3c has most of the same internals as the 540. I hope you can help me get this working with clover as I prefer that over Chameleon.
warlikewings
I'll see what I can find for sure, and yes, I also prefer clover. Many more options!

bob321654984
I'm getting to the install and it's just prompting me to switch my mouse on - do I need to load a bluetooth kext or something? It's a USB bluetooth dongle (on the compatibility list, but I can't remember what it is!)
stinga11
I copied your instructions of how to load the fakesmc.kext into a little script. Only need to copy it to the root of the installer, then boot with -s -v kext-dev-mode=1 and type /0.command (You will see some errors on the screen but is a problem of Yosemite in Mavericks this error don't appear.) when finished type exit or reboot whatever you want. 0.command.zip
