mnfesq
DP6 breaks Parallels, otherwise fine... No problem with Parallels here. Works fine for me. Anybody else getting TelephonyUtilities.Framework bouncing in the dock at boot up? Have to force quit to get rid of it. I hasn't worked ever but it never used to show up in the dock before. magnifico
Guys You have probably already noticed this: LZVN decompression by Andy Vandijck (.....probably will be also useful for the new iOS jailbreak?) MilesTEG1
For those witch had parallels not working, there is a workaround : http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?313859-Parallels-Desktop-9-crashes-on-Yosemite-DP-6&p=747774&viewfull=1#post747774 It's annoying, but it works for me.I just had to do it again every time I want to launch //D... Have to force quit to get rid of it. I hasn't worked ever but it never used to show up in the dock before. I don't use parallels. I have this bouncing TelephonyUtilities.Framework icon bouncing on boot up on BOTH this hack and my REAL macMini 6,1 since DP6. Handsoff is also absent on DP6 but I am awaiting deliver of a Apple Broadcom BCM94360CD 802.11ac mini PCI-E WLAN+Bluetooth 4.0 card which will solve the continuity and handoff BT4 issues (I hope). The error on real macs is quite common on real macs according to the forums.

Micky1979
yes ..but what is this ? that there is no need to decompress? Why? This is the best hack ever seen in a long time. AnV did a reverse engineering of a loseless compression algorithm. In addition, today I extracted the kernel from Yosemite kernelcache: This means that we will have the kernel to make the installer, and every bootloader will be able to start Yosemite. I think this will soon be in Clover, and also in Chameleon. All this before Apple has posted any source code. For this reason AnV is great. ADHDMedia
Phew! She came back up. But my airport isn't working for the first time in pretty much ever. Don't know what to do there. Nothing a quick reboot can't fix! Lol DP6 up and fully functional. Well I guess there is a small issue. My wifi is working, but the icon in the menu bar is greyed out with an X on it. Wonder what that could be?
TheBoatman
Try removing SysPref/Network all network connections Ethernet/Wi-Fi/Bluetooth etc, then apply. Go to /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration and delete Networkinterfaces.plist. Then reboot. Go back then to sys pref/network and add firstly Ethernet, then WiFi, then apply. If the Ethernet is not available it is a cache issue and likely you will have to reboot again using single user mode to update the cache. These two entries are very useful for yosemite. sudo touch /S*/L*/Extensions sudo kextcache -Boot -U / Good Luck
ADHDMedia
Thank you. More issues... I can't open the Desktop and Screen Saver prefpane... Still having trouble with the wifi on menubar... Not sure what to do. I'm gonna try to resinstall the DP6 update directly and see what happens. Here goes, wish me luck: Well, it works so far. Rebooted successfully after the update, looks like my issues are fixed.

Ps: Also you a great lzss en lzss Ita it was/is a way to compress the kernelcache up to OSX Mavericks. In Yosemite there is a new way that is lzvn. All the legacy bootloaders using the lzss decompression algorithm, but no lzvn. (Clover is able to use kernelcache via boot.efi, but not by itself). now the community have both. I was in the process of restoring my iPhone 5C to the iOS 8 beta, and as soon as the iPhone showed the screen saying to plug into iTunes, iTunes crashed and is now refusing to open with the phone plugged in. If I unplug it, iTunes opens right up. This is serious, I need to restore my iPhone pronto Any suggestions?!?

I recall Apple saying Yosemite is beta software :-) You're not attempting to use beta software for real work, are you? You have another computer with stable software on it, correct? Or at least a second partition with stable software? Like... perhaps... Mavericks? You know what 'beta' means, right?
