p.H
For me it's working for app handoff, but I haven't been able to get it to alert me to a phone call. And actually if I try to open safari via handoff on my iPhone, it pops up safari and says it's "opening webpage from handoff" and then just says "search or enter website name" without actually opening a page, so it's just a white screen on my phone. It works from iPhone to OS X though. Doesn't seem to work at all for mail. It tries to load on my phone but then gives an error. OS X doesn't even show mail in the dock for handoff. Can't seem to get any other apps to show in the dock on OS X. Looks like they haven't worked out the kinks yet. What's the bluetooth for your computer? Is it a real mac or hackintosh? And it's a USB BT dongle or something else?
InteliMac Pro
What's the bluetooth for your computer? Is it a real mac or hackintosh? And it's a USB BT dongle or something else? Ah yeah should have mentioned that. I was using a GBU 521 but obviously it didn't work at all with handoff/continuity/airdrop since it's a usb dongle. I then ordered this from OSXWIFI after a google search, and it's working great. I got the handoff checkbox in settings, WIFI is recognized as an Airport card OOB, and bluetooth works great. I can even use my magic mouse in the installer/recovery partition (after a short connection delay). Pricey, but I didn't want to mess with building my own. If anybody wants one, just do the Preorder. Mine shipped like the next day. I don't know why their regular product page says out of stock. Maybe to give themselves time if they don't have the parts on-hand. I couldn't be happier with the thing though.
theconnactic
Nah, I know there is a defaults write terminal command for USB dongles to be seen as internal BT cards. I just forgot what the commands are... P.S.: Sudo su nvram bluetoothHostControllerSwitchBehavior="always" Find this somewhere in MacRumors. I tried it here, though, and no change for the better. Riley Freeman
Those are from iStat Menus. You can reduce/eliminate them by turning off the sensor monitoring. I use HWMonitor for that and iStat just for displaying network/memory/cpu activity.
alexanderq
Thank you for your answer but i don't use istat but HWMonitor from same revision as fakesmc.
Riley Freeman
Oh. I thought that was what caused it. Actually, now that I check my log I'm getting it too (but not as bad). I'm only using the CPU and GeForce sensors though, not the one for my motherboard sensors. The last time this happened it was a change in AppleACPIPlatform I think. I guess it'll sort itself out in time.
theconnactic
Do you have working nvram write? Good insight. I think Clover, like Chameleon, emulate this, doesn't it? How do I check it's working?
oSxFr33k
Has anyone installed DP4 with Fermi based Mobile Nvidia Graphics Cards? If so do you still need the FreezeFix app and modified AGPU to lower its incidence? For me its the GTX 560M mobile graphics card. Maybe Nvidia injection in Clover?
