bigpoppa206
Did someone run Geekbench under 10.10? I just noticed a huge drop: almost 700 points down from Mavericks' 11.200+ to about 10.500. That's a serious performance downgrade The graphics are not working properly yet.
theconnactic
I din't know the benchmarks by Geekbench 2-3 were affected by Graphics performance. They display results only for CPU and RAM. Nice info, though. Thank you!
ADHDMedia
Nice info if it's correct... It doesn't display any info about gpu being tested at all. I don't think gpu is a factor with geek bench. Can someone confirm that?

lightskreen
No matter the update, I still get the "still waiting for root device" bit. No clue what I'm doing wrong.
ADHDMedia
Got it working by digging out the kexts from the InstallESD and reinstalling them. Anyone wanna guess why the USB installer would install graphics kexts without the info.plists??? Totally weird...

It's pretty clear the performance downgrade comes from something Apple did with power management: I get seven more p-states and 700 less Geekbench points. TheHacker66
I still have problems with the flaky edid pickup here, it works 1/10 times, it's really frustrating since I can see the hdd working and I have to force reboot every time. We'll do more tests tonight.
tuanpekoe
Anyone here try to use the "MSRDumper.kext" to show your step of CPU? I tried it but i saw only 2 steps. However, HWMonotor.app showed the graph with many steps of CPU. Of couse i'm using 10.10 DP1

Can you send for me all Geforce*.* , i can copy and repair NVDA*.* from Install USB, i can't extract Geforece*.* from BSD.pkg, i was test with Geforce*.* from 10.9.3, my hackintosh can boot with NVDAStartup Load -> GF100Hal Loaded and Registed but screen only blink full and restart. My graphic is MSI Geforce 630GT 2GB DDR3, what i will config in Clover to use this card (before i only use Chameleon bootloader with 10.8.x and 10.9.x). Fab1Man
I'm trying to follow the Nvidia/AMD discussing, because I might be facing the same problem. I installed 10.10 flawlessly with Clover 2695, upgraded to 2696. I put FakeSMC in the Others folder and followed the USB guide. Booted the first time, installed the first time. At first boot the graphics looked like artifacts. The system was very slow in the beginning, but then catched up. Webcam imagery had artifacts too for a short time. Now, I haven't optimized everything yet, I think I need to create a new DSDT anyway, as PJALM introduced a Asus Maximus VI (Generic) DSDT patch (even with audio and ethernet injection). I'm wondering if you're facing the same graphical issues so I can follow the thread about this problem?

In clover config, does i need config anything like GraphicsInjector=1 or ... ? So if you have the time, can you send all AMD kext, if i can't config to run Geforce 630 GT i will replace ASUS ATI HD 6670 1GB DDR5 my backup card. And how you take Geforce*.*, i can't extract it. vuhothang
Hey ADHDMedia! With your kexts my screen is full now 1920x1080, but don't full QE/Ci, the top menu not transparent. How to test full QE/Ci?
warlikewings
It's most likely not full QE/CI, transparency is the first telltale sign that your QE/CI is enabled. Mine isn't either though, been trying, been failin' Intel HD4600 (should be working OOB with clover injection, did with mavs)

Try rolling back the AppleIntelFrameBufferAzul.kext to the one from Mavericks temporarily. It won't give you QE/CI on the HD4600 but it should be able to solve the "no signal" worse comes to worse, I can share one with a modified info.plist, but I can't guarantee it will work for you. Try the rollback first.
