thegreatcactii_
Alright, so let me get right into it. Specs: Asus z87-K Intel i7 4770K Haswell 8GB Ripjaw RAM GTX 650 Graphics Card(However, I'm not using it because I can't get into the install with onboard graphics, so I figured I'd simplify my troubles by getting rid of everything I can for the install) So, I start up #####(Or myHack) and I boot with -v and I get this error: If the error isn't visible very easily, this is what it says: starting darwin x86_64 boot args boot-uuid= I've been looking everywhere for about three days now and I can not find anything on this. From what I read, I don't need to patch my BIOS so it's not that. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Can't seem to find them, apologies if it's something silly I'm mixing up here.

Instant reboot Haswell cpu mach_kernel.zip 3.32MB 37 downloads [View Reference Link] Alright, thanks. I replaced the kernel. However looking in System/Library/Extensions, there aren't any graphics kexts? There are nine kexts in there, however none of them are graphics. The goal was to have them removed, so I assume them not being there is fine. I'll attempt to boot and I'll let you know how it goes. Alright, so now it hangs at http://i.imgur.com/RFCkDaM.jpg Thank you again for getting me this far. Any ideas on this now? EDIT: So, the last error it hung on in the picture was the en0 error. I removed my wireless card(which is the TP-link one that's supposedly compatible?) and now that error is gone. I'm now just hanging on the error above that: hfs: could not initialize summary table for ##### Haswell
iFIRE
try this flag -f -v -x dart=0 npci=0x2000 or 0x3000 disable integrate graphics i the bios IntelHD, you sure that FakeSMC.kext is installed in S/L/E ?
thegreatcactii_
Actually, it appears that FakeSMC isn't installed in there. Why would that be? Isn't that supposed to be placed there when myHack or whatever tool is being used? Where should I get fakeSMC?

iFIRE
try remake your USBInstaller with this tool CloverPackager - InsanelyMac Forum take a look here in these posts with similar hardware Google Custom Search
thegreatcactii_
So I'm still getting the same problem, even after. I looked at the only other successful guides(only a few total), and they all just say they go right into it after patching the mach kernel. So.. I'll try to remake a USB and then repatch the kernel and try again. Not sure what else to do. Any ideas?
iFIRE
seems that you need patch your bios to bypass this error , take a look in this guide. Asus Z87-Deluxe & 4770K - A Guide to Mavericks - OSx86 10.9 (Mavericks) - InsanelyMac Forum CPU: Intel i7 4770K Mobo: Asus z87-Deluxe GPU: Asus GTX660 ti Installation: 1. Flash patched BIOS, I found my patched BIOS from this topic in the forum: a. http://www.insanelym...tching-utility/ b. I believe there is a tool that CodeRush has designed that can provide patched BIOS for most systems. If it doesn’t work for you send him a message, he is very amicable and helpful. c. Flash the new BIOS d. Load your BIOS and make sure you have the settings shown in the pdf on this page: http://www.fichier-z...05/26/asus-pdf/ 2. After flashing the BIOS, got an 8GB flash drive, place in USB in functioning Mac and open disk utility. a. In disk utility go to the partition tab. In the drop down menu labeled “current” select “1 partition”, then underneath the visual representation of the drive click options and select Master Boot Record. Note: This is a point of contention, many people were telling me to choose GUID Partition, but for whatever reason I was unable to get my computer to boot from a flash drive formatted in that manner. Name your flash drive “usb” and select Mac OS Extended (Journaled) as the format. Click apply, and wait. 3. Download Mavericks Installer
