Fix Audio installing ALC1150 (the tool...) Fix Ethernet installing Intel - AppleIntelE1000e v3.1.0 (the tool...) [3.1.0 seems connect faster to the web faster after boot than 2.4.14] Fix iCloud by removing /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/NetworkInterfaces.plist Updating to 10.9.4 Update normally Install again the sound drivers (it will lost during the process of update) What is working: Graphics Card (OOB) Audio Sleep (OOB) Ethernet USB 2.0 (OOB) Shut/Reboot (OOB) Bluetooth (OOB - Detected, it can see my iPhone with BT but never connect to it) AppStore iCloud USB ports What is not working: Wi-Fi iMessenger Things to be done/fix: (1) Find drivers for the Wi-Fi (ASUS Wi-Fi GO!) - Don't work - Qualcomm Atheros AR9462 Wireless Network Adapter [168c:0034] (rev 01) (subsys 1043:850e) (2) Find a way to put iMessenger working What "we" already test to solve this issues: (1) Fixing the wifi by editting kext files with hardware id's - Don't work (tested by qmaster312) (3) Using the Install Bootloader and Extra to EFI Partition - It works (tested by qmaster312)Note: I could not make it work in MyHack installation, it was tested and worked by qmaster312 using another tool than not MyHack but I can't mention it here. The MyHack USB Pen Drive give this error in the middle for the process bash-3.2# fdisk -f boot0 -u -y /dev/rdisk0 fdisk: could not open MBR file boot0: No such file or directory (3) Try using many variables of Clover UEFI but no luck. From the user gaspimp, about the booting from the HD myself and the user "VonDutch" on the hardocp forums discovered that all Asus Z87 boards have a UEFI firmware bug which prevents them from booting GPT partitioned disks. Specifically - GPT partitioned disks without a UEFI bootloader but WITH an EFI partition. All Mac OS Install USB sticks work this way, and also function the same when installed. Thus, it is impossible to boot your hackintosh install or an installer. Chameleon simply won't load. You could try Clover UEFI as a bootloader instead of Chameleon but it doesn't work with Haswell or Mavericks yet... Aaanyway, long story short, Asus seems unwilling to help and says the only OS they officially support is Windows 7 and 8. This breaks a lot of linux installs too - not just Mac. Both VonDutch and I have replaced our boards with Gigabyte ones. That seems like the only solution until Asus releases a BIOS/UEFI update to address this issue, but it seems unlikely when their employees are on forums denying the issue and being rude to customers. From the user Toleda, about the booting from the HD After numerous conversations with Asus technical support, the conclusion is Asus 8 series UEFI does not support legacy boot on GPT. They agree 7 Series UEFI supports the feature and have no plans to add the capability to 8 Series UEFI. Asus has purposely decided to force users to go UEFI/GOP with their 8 Series motherboards.1. Chameleon v2266: USB/MBR/FAT32 2. Chimera v2.2.1: USB/MBR/HFS3. Clover v2236 (legacy and UEFI): USB/GPT or disk/GPT Notas: The info that I get from Admins is that "InsanelyMac does not and will never support tonymacx86 tools" so I will not mention the tools that I use so I can keep respect the forum rules.Quote font: OSx86 Wiki

chaosinmind
My screen goes blank after the Apple logo during install. I never get to the actual setup. I've tried PciRoot=1 and GraphicsEnabler=No which were referenced on the MyHack troubleshooting section but neither resolve the problem. Running a GTX780 and the Asus Z87-Pro with the latest BIOS. Now I use only USB BT dongle and disable built-in BT on motherboard. The BT icon shows but I never try it because I never use it, but I will give it a try and tell you something latter.
