OS X Mavericks 10.9.1 Builds

Check to be sure it is installed correctly:

kextstat|grep -y ps2
And/or (after "-f" boot):

bdmesg|grep -y ps2
You should see only my driver, not AppleACPIPS2Nub, not ApplePS2Controller...

 

Otherwise, install the debug version and examine system.log, post wake.

 

I am back with full info. I replaced the release version with the debug one and below is the procedures I've taken.

Around 10.53 local time, I finished installing the debug version kext and restarted my hack. At 12.28, I put my hack into sleep. I then waked it up at 12.48.

Below is the console output with VoodooPS2 keyword. With the time info I've provided with, I hope you could find something useful.

I do own the Magic Trackpad. So I cannot see the preference panel for the Synpatics Trackpad. I don't know if the issue has something to do with the Magic Trackpad? Thanks.

Looks like it is failing to send any data to the trackpad (eg. no ACK response), as if the trackpad still doesn't have power or is in some kind of sleep mode. Could be DSDT issue.

 

This is probably not the appropriate thread to debug your ps2 issue, unless you're saying this only happens on 10.9.1. If that is the case, I'll let you know if/when I install 10.9.1.

So it has nothing to do with the PS2mouse kext, right?

And I checked my dsdt. I think the PS2M should be the name for my trackpad. And the code goes like:

None of the kext "AMD7000Controller" updated to the graphics AMD Radeon HD7xxx! I'm having trouble going to sleep with my Radeon HD 7750! She is not activated again after the "sleep". I have the desktop "frozen".

 

With a notebook with the Intel HD graphics 3000 with 10.9 Mavericks, I had trouble sleeping too. I applied this update to 10.9.1 and now the sleep mode is working!

hi, artur-pt. Would you mind telling me the build number for Finder? Its said that the Finder issue has been solved in 10.9.1 beta2. :D

Hi, just updated. I had only to fix the usual issue with mixed Intel Graphics (GA Z77 UP4 TH - Sandy Bridge) to get my HD 3000 recognized. Nothing more.

Concerning my Flash issue (always crashing) posted in the forum, no fix at all. I had to uninstall it again. I'm going to test my build just to see if  there is any difference. Ciao!

For the Flash issue have you tried to  open up a flash player window  right click on it and uncheck the box for Gfx or Hardware acceleration .

That isn't a proper fix as I suspect other things doesn't also work, like for example, MplayerX.
