p.H
Check to be sure it is installed correctly: kextstat|grep -y ps2 And/or (after "-f" boot): bdmesg|grep -y ps2 You should see only my driver, not AppleACPIPS2Nub, not ApplePS2Controller... Otherwise, install the debug version and examine system.log, post wake. I am back with full info. I replaced the release version with the debug one and below is the procedures I've taken. Around 10.53 local time, I finished installing the debug version kext and restarted my hack. At 12.28, I put my hack into sleep. I then waked it up at 12.48. Below is the console output with VoodooPS2 keyword. With the time info I've provided with, I hope you could find something useful. // Restarting 11/18/13 10:55:23.000 kernel[0]: VoodooPS2Trackpad: Identify bytes = { 0x4, 0x47, 0x17 } 11/18/13 10:55:23.000 kernel[0]: VoodooPS2Trackpad starting: Synaptics TouchPad reports type 0x47, version 7.4 11/18/13 10:55:23.000 kernel[0]: VoodooPS2Trackpad: nExtendedQueries=5 11/18/13 10:55:23.000 kernel[0]: VoodooPS2Trackpad: supports EW=1 11/18/13 10:55:23.000 kernel[0]: VoodooPS2Trackpad: passthru1=1, passthru2=0, passthru=0 11/18/13 10:55:23.000 kernel[0]: VoodooPS2Trackpad: ledpresent=0 11/18/13 10:55:23.000 kernel[0]: VoodooPS2Trackpad: clickpadtype=0 11/18/13 10:55:23.000 kernel[0]: VoodooPS2Trackpad: _reportsv=0 11/18/13 10:55:23.000 kernel[0]: VoodooPS2Trackpad: Mode/model($01) bytes = { 0x3b, 0x47, 0x40 } 11/18/13 10:55:23.000 kernel[0]: VoodooPS2Trackpad: Capabilities($02) bytes = { 0xd0, 0x47, 0x31 } 11/18/13 10:55:23.000 kernel[0]: VoodooPS2Trackpad: Model ID($03) bytes = { 0x1, 0xc0, 0xb1 } 11/18/13 10:55:23.000 kernel[0]: VoodooPS2Trackpad: SN Prefix($06) bytes = { 0x0, 0x0, 0x0 } 11/18/13 10:55:23.000 kernel[0]: VoodooPS2Trackpad: SN Suffix($07) bytes = { 0x0, 0x0, 0x0 } 11/18/13 10:55:23.000 kernel[0]: VoodooPS2Trackpad: Resolutions($08) bytes = { 0x32, 0x80, 0x56 } 11/18/13 10:55:23.000 kernel[0]: VoodooPS2Trackpad: Extended Model($09) bytes = { 0xa4, 0x0, 0x0 } 11/18/13 10:55:23.000 kernel[0]: VoodooPS2Trackpad: Continued Capabilities($0C) bytes = { 0xa, 0x0, 0x0 } 11/18/13 10:55:23.000 kernel[0]: VoodooPS2Trackpad: Maximum coords($0D) bytes = { 0xb0, 0x6c, 0x95 } 11/18/13 10:55:23.000 kernel[0]: VoodooPS2Trackpad: sending final init sequence... // Waking up 11/18/13 12:48:03.000 kernel[0]: VoodooPS2Trackpad: sending final init sequence... 11/18/13 12:48:03.000 kernel[0]: VoodooPS2Trackpad: sending final init sequence failed: 0 I do own the Magic Trackpad. Looks like it is failing to send any data to the trackpad (eg. no ACK response), as if the trackpad still doesn't have power or is in some kind of sleep mode. Could be DSDT issue. This is probably not the appropriate thread to debug your ps2 issue, unless you're saying this only happens on 10.9.1. If that is the case, I'll let you know if/when I install 10.9.1. And the code goes like: Device (PS2M) { Name (_HID, EisaId ("DLL0456")) Name (_CID, EisaId ("PNP0F13")) Name (_CRS, ResourceTemplate () { IRQ (Edge, ActiveHigh, Exclusive, ) {12} }) Name (_PRS, ResourceTemplate () { StartDependentFn (0x00, 0x00) { IRQNoFlags () {12} } EndDependentFn () }) } Any ideas? JorgeMax
None of the kext "AMD7000Controller" updated to the graphics AMD Radeon HD7xxx! I'm having trouble going to sleep with my Radeon HD 7750! She is not activated again after the "sleep". I have the desktop "frozen". With a notebook with the Intel HD graphics 3000 with 10.9 Mavericks, I had trouble sleeping too. I applied this update to 10.9.1 and now the sleep mode is working! drnick
Hi, just updated. I had only to fix the usual issue with mixed Intel Graphics (GA Z77 UP4 TH - Sandy Bridge) to get my HD 3000 recognized. Nothing more. Concerning my Flash issue (always crashing) posted in the forum, no fix at all. I had to uninstall it again. I'm going to test my build just to see if there is any difference. Ciao! For the Flash issue have you tried to open up a flash player window right click on it and uncheck the box for Gfx or Hardware acceleration . poispois
For the Flash issue have you tried to open up a flash player window right click on it and uncheck the box for Gfx or Hardware acceleration . That isn't a proper fix as I suspect other things doesn't also work, like for example, MplayerX.
