@sitapson

if you really need to, use another thread.

BTW

As written on the first page: "Please don't post parallel guides, if you want to improve something just write me a PM and i'll be glad to cooperate."

It's already easy for users to install Osx using the guide, while learning something new and I personally don't like your idea, it's like a distro!

and btw you can't post the full bootable pen cause it contains the OSX installer and we don't want to violate the EULA in such way.

So you should find a way to share just the files and or make an app that uses the Installer.

hope you understand.

After 3 days of working out the kinks I was able to get all 3 OS's working at once without needing a USB stick to boot clover on a Surface Pro 2 64GB

Mac OS X Mavericks 10.9 (Have not updated to 10.9.2 yet)

Android 4.4

Windows 10 Technical Preview

The same WiFi dongle works on both OSX and Android

Here are a couple of issues I had and how I worked around them

Issue: Android would not detect the HDD

Solution: Split Android into 2 partitions, 1 fat32 partition for the OS (2gb should be fine), the rest you choose as an ext3 partition for the data, copy the android folder from the image to the fat32 volume and edit grub.cfg to boot from it and set DATA=/dev/sdaX (Otherwise your data/settings will be lost after each boot)

Issue: Android would not boot after installing Windows

Solution: Windows creates a small system partition therefore moving everything under it up a number. this change needs to be reflected in grub.cfg

After a few tries of following your instructions, I have successfully installed OSX 10.9 onto my Surface Pro.

1. I'm having a few issues though. I am not getting any audio to work. The sound choices are greyed out.

2. The built in trackpad on my power cover does not work. If I click on it, the mouse gos to the top left corner of the screen. An external mouse works, and so does the power cover's keyboard.

3. I can not get clover to work without the external usb plugged in. I did follow the last steps in the guide for installing to the ssd.

The only thing that I did that wasn't in your guide was to be able to get past the bluetooth error, that isn't a bluetooth error.  I moved all AppleIntelHD* and AppleIntelF* ktexts as described on multiple other sited.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Detaching and reattaching the cover worked for me when the cursor was stuck in the top left

Also found I had some luck when I went into Clover Boot Options after booting from the USB (You may notice this is shown twice, one is for the USB installation the other is for the SSD, go into the one for the SSD) and select to add clover entries to all boot options (Or something along those lines) then Clover would boot off the SSD

Audio worked after installing the correct kext in the guide however I am using a surface pro 2 so it may use a different kext.

Thank you. That fixed 2 of the 3 problems.

I am still not able to get any audio out of the speakers. The AppleHDA.kext that is included, doesn't seem to populate any output devices.

It does list mic, speaker, headphone, line, and hdmi under Intel High Definition Audio ndr system report, but i can't select it under sound. Headphones don't even populate there.

Hi All!

So got 10.9.2 working on my pro 2.  THANK YOU!!!!

Couple of things I spent far to long working out.

1.In order to boot without caches and injected kext in Clover select the drive and press space for the options (I know total noob)

2. My installation would not work, so I made a whole new install USB leaving Voodoo.kext out and now I am up and running.  I tried manually taking Voodoo out of the old USB but I had to make a whole new one.  Then adding voodoo following the audio fix instructions fixed the audio.

But now my bluetooth has stopped working, any ideas?  I redropped the Kext 4 times.

Thanks JahStories and MacSpike you guys rock!

The guide mentioned the latest package is v0.5.1 which supports OSX 10.9.3 for Surface Pro 2, but the attachment is v0.4.

Could someone please post the download link for the SP2v 0.5.1 package?

Much appreciated!!

Here is the Clover EFI folder to boot 10.9 and 10.10 installer with Surface 2, copy to the EFI partition of USB/SSD. Just select the OS X installer at Clover screen and install, no copy, no single mode, no terminal, nothing is needed.

Does anyone still have this download?

Hi there, on the Sp1 there isn't any slowdown, the system is very snappy and everything, apart wifi, is working as a real mac from maverick up to the latest yosemite 10.10.2 release, and should be the same for the Sp2, your system is buggy probably due to the bad installation of some of the kexts...

good luck on fixing everything

and

Have fun!!

Hello there, sorry if this has been asked before, but does anyone happen to know where I can find a pack of files to run Yosemite on the Surface Pro 2? Ex. config.plst, dsdt.aml, ssdt.aml, kexts, etc. I see some links for Mavericks (which seem to be down at the moment) but i dont happen to see any for Yosemite.

Hi there,

please update your signature as suggested,

there is no need to patch or fix drivers,

just use the provided files and be sure that there is the kext-dev-mode=1 argument on the config.plist

Your message has been edited cause we don't support or encourage that forum.
