Lava_man_kl
I'm running Mavericks on an ECS G31T-M. I had audio working in Mountain Lion with voodoo. Under Mavericks Voodoo doesn't detect my audio, and with nyolc8's kexts installed the audio is seen in systems profiler but the output isn't there in system preferences. Just digital and internal speaker.. How can I get the sound to work?
mpalomba3
I also have this problem!
rlf
Have you tried: http://www.osx86.net/files/file/3567-new-109-alc662-fully-working/
nyolc8
@rlf: if you read it, you can see that the linked applehda is also my kext. @chilicheezfriez01: try plug in a headphone into the front jack connector, just to see if headphone output appear then in output devices or not. Shaneee
I am currently using this VoodooHDA with my ALC662 on Mavericks GM. Enjoy. VoodooHDA 2.8.2d6.pkg.zip
nyolc8
Wait, with my kext, there is "Internal speaker" in the outputs? That is the main output (the kext thinks you have an imac and that's why it says internal speaker). Select that. Note: is it possible to change it to say "Line out", I actually did it ~1-2 years before, but honestly, I don't remember what I changed in the pin configuration to get that. I only remember that I had to change a number in the output node...
