Hi toleda,

Can you please have a look at my problem?

I've got a Fenvi FV-T919(BCM94360CD) installed on my desktop. BCM94360CD can support native handoff, airdrop. But there is an issue-If wake up from sleep, the Wi-Fi can connect to router(sometimes with a exclamation mark), but actually it can not access the Internet, can't open any websites. I don't know why this happens. Is that because of the country code? I live in New Zealand. I have read through your topic, still have no ideas to locate. Here attached my ioreg file.

I am having this same problem with a BCM94360CD as well. edit: I guess it is a BCM943602CS actually. Still a native chip used in the MBP 12,1.

It shows as US/FCC as it should since I live in the US. I have no kexts, ACPI changes, Clover patches, or anything else that should be affecting WiFi.

I am on the latest version of 10.12.6 with Clover, on an ASRock X99 Pro4 (latest BIOS), and a Xeon 4-core CPU, and a GT 740.

Any ideas?

With info provided, no.  Attach requested files, Post #1/Problem Reporting.

Hm, I guess I hit attach on the files but not also "Submit."

Anyway, I made a new keychain and ran first aid. The problems appears to be resolved. I do not think it was WiFi related per se.

Thank you for your time.

Hi, I recently bought a DW1830, to change my actual DW1560, wifi work oob, bt appear if i put these 2 kext: BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext and BrcmPatchRAM2.kext

BT is on, i see it on system profiler in the menu bar and in system prefs BUT:

it is not seen by other devices

it is not scanning.

has anyone seen something like this? what could i have missed?

I have a BCM94532Z. I'm running into the issue that my wifi is visible, but I can't enable it (nothing happens when clicking turn on) and Bluetooth is just missing altogether.

I tried pretty much every method and patch I could find, but my current setup is:
  • Kext: FakePCIID_Broadcom_WiFi.kext, FakePCIID.kext, BrcmPatchRAM2.kext, BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext in /L/E (also tried /S/L/E and EFI other)
  • fcvo patch in config.plist (see attachment)

I'm pretty much out of things to try, and hope somebody can help. I attached all files requested in post #1, except for Airport console logs as there were none.

3)Procedure/Guide Used

BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext and BrcmPatchRAM2.kext i followed procedure for bluetooth Broadcom 20703 0A5C:6410

all files in zip (clover version)

it's all in one PC box, motherboard is specific i assume. here are official specs: i don't know more than that:

https://www.zotac.com/us/product/mini_pcs/magnus-en1070k

on motherboard there are 1sata, 1 m.2 and 1 ngff with original intel wifi/bt card but wifi is not recognized, so i bought dw1830 reported to work almost oob. wifi is oob, but not bt.

sorry wasn't for me but i thought i didn't gave you all the specs

so that means DW1830 has 2 versions, 1 with BT4 and other with an older generation of BT?

or does that mean, the system doesn't recognize the bt chipset as it should be?

http://wikidevi.com/wiki/Dell_Wireless_1830_(DW1830)

"Dell Wireless 1830 (DW1830) - Broadcom BCM43602
BT: Broadcom BCM20703A1 (DW1830 Bluetooth 4.1 LE)
Foxconn U40H039.00 OUI:60:6D:C7 (image) (vs)"

i checked on rehabman depository for the cards firmware list and 1830 is listed as:

[0a5c:6410] 20703A1 RAM download - DW1830 43602 (Dell Wireless 1830 Bluetooth 4.1 LE)
BCM20703A1_001.001.005.0214.0422 (v4518)

Hi Hervé! That's what i don't understand, the device id seems good, the DW1830 was bought on ebay as an AC WIFI + 4.1LE BT. for me it seems the good one. and yes i've see that wikidev report also BCM2045A0.

and the issue is: in system profiler, under USB, i have the BT device listed as BCM2045A0

post-2058756-0-98221900-1503920947_thumb.png

but under BT i have the 20703A1 for chipset.

post-2058756-0-67759800-1503920955_thumb.png

so. how can i get this one to work? first try the latest FakePCIID kext + the two bcrmpatch?

Hi Hervé.

So without the kexts, i see BT device under USB in sysprofiler as BCM2045A0 but no BLUETOOTH available for the system (nothing under bluetooth section of sysprofiler)

here attached are the files you asked for i think

tried your 2 firmware patching method with same issue. with kext bt available but not scanning/pairing

with no kext BT still not visible in sysprofiler except in USB devices as ◊

zotac-bt.zip

some news. i tested in another similar unit (ZOTAC EN 1060) the same card. on this one i have windows.

i could check the reading of bt card in the properties and it is the good bt device.

post-2058756-0-53436300-1504460143_thumb.png

i then searched work from https://github.com/syscl/XPS9350-macOSand got the clover patch and the 2 brcm kext without full success.

now bt is recognized a 20703 in both bluetooth and usb sections of sysprofiler.

still not scanning though.

i’m going to try mess with the antenna as this card has 3 connecors vs 2 antennas in my Central unit.

Success, the antena order was different than what i read somewhere, bt is J1 not j2

Now i have to try replicate this on the EN1070
