crazyallstar31
Hey I just want to say thank you toleda for trying to diagnose the issue. To no avail I couldn't get the country code to change. Instead I purchased this card: http://www.osxwifi.com/apple-broadcom-bcm94360cd-802-11-a-b-g-n-ac-bluetooth-4-0-with-adapter-for-pc-hackintosh And it with a fresh install it worked immediately out of the box, bluetooth and all. phramenma
Hej toleda and RehabMan, I'm just unsure how to get Bluetooth working regarding the BCM94360HMB (using ASUS Z170-Deluxe).Maybe you could help me with this?If I am not mistaken it should be supported natively and running oob, but unfortunately Bluetooth isn't showing up.When I add the kexts brcmpatchram2 and brcmfirmwarerepo, it will show up but won't find anything...Do I even need the kexts? Thank you so much in advance and all the best for you! Edit: Got it working by now - updated the firmware... but it's taking its time to recognize the devices. Is this normal? And one questions remains: Should BT work out of the box, also – or will I always need the above mentioned kexts? toleda
Should BT work out of the box, also – or will I always need the above mentioned kexts? No. Yes. With 10.11/100 series, issue is likely a USB problem; different solution required. Off topic.
SquallATF
Hi! I like many others have a AzureWave AW-CE123H. Wifi works fine, but bluetooth has issues. Bluetooth technically works. The computer detects my bluetooth device, and I'm able to pair with my mouse and keyboard. However, the quality of my connection is awful. Both my keyboard and mouse show an RSSI of less than -90 dmb, and the mouse in particular is extremely laggy and erratic. I originally thought that hardware/environmental factors were to blame, except that both the keyboard and mouse work PERFECTLY under Windows, with the exact same hardware under the same conditions. What could be going on here? I've tried using BrcmPatchRAM2+BrcmFirmwareData as well as BrcmBluetoothInjector (not at the same time, of course), and both give the same results. I have the save card and same issue, bluetooth mouse very lagging. Apr 24 22:33:14 localhost kernel[0]: BrcmPatchRAM2: Version 2.2.3 starting on OS X Darwin 15.4. ankushg
Definitely early, but has anyone had any luck with 10.12 DP1? I'm trying to get my AW-CE123H up and running. I'm not having any luck with wifi using FakePCIID + FakePCIID_Broadcom_WiFi, and it looks like BrcmPatchRAM2 needs an update as well. Do any alternative methods work, or should I just sit tight and let the devs work their magic?

bankkopf
Problem Report 1. WiFi Card not getting detected (BCM943224 HMS), but works fine under Windows 2. OS X 10.11.5, Gigabyte GA-Z10X-Gaming 3, Bios F7, Core i5 6600K, GTX 960 4GB 3. SSDT, FakePCIID.kext, Clover Fix Airport 4. Find attached 5. Find attached 6. Find attached 7. Not relevant, using Clover 8. Find attached Note: Tested an Atheros AR9280 and it gets detected OOB. Plugging the BCM943224 HMS into another Hack (Sandy Bridge based, no UEFI), it will only be detected, if Fix Airport is activated in Clover. The old Hack I was using (H77 UEFI, Ivy Bridge) also required Fix Airport for detection. Activation of Fix Airport on new Hack will lead to Kernel Panic on boot. I hope someone can help me figure this out. WiFi Bug.zip Edit: Nevermind, this was Whitelist Issue and I got the DSDT sorted out

toleda
I read the thread, but I find it hard to follow you. 3 functions, 3 steps Post #1: 1. Airport (10.10 and newer) WiFi 2. BCM BT (10.11) 3. bertolin
Hi, everybody! First thanks to all community and the gurus for making all this possible. My BCM94352Z works well in my Cintiq Companion 2 (Yosemite 10.10.5, all security updates applied) ---> GUIDE 5Ghz channels appear in System Profile, Airdrop, Handoff... almost everything works. ISSUES: I can't reach speeds above 145Mbps as it does in Windows. Locale is shown as Unknow (card is FCC-US and I changed country code to ES using Clover patch, it should show ETSI, right? If I try using FCC-US, I lose Airdrop between iOS and OSX but speed still under 145Mbps) What I have right now: - Fake PCIID - Fake PCIID_Broadcom_Wifi - 10.10-BCM94352-5GHz-ES <-- Custom Country Code Clover patch (changed 55 53 (US) 46 52 (FR) for 45 53 (ES) - 10.10.2-BT4LE-Handoff-Hotspot <-- Clover patch NOTES: I'm using vanilla IOBluetoothFamily and IO80211Family with Clover patches right now but I've tried other ways (patching kexts, optional Clover patch...) I have NullEthernet installed to access iCloud services from a previous stage where I was using an USB wifi dongle. It could be that? I think it's not needed now that I have a built-in recognized Airport card. I removed any RTL driver btw. Any help, please? I've been reading and doing proofs almost a week to have it 100% working, this lack of speed is driving me nuts. Thanks in advance!
toleda
Locale is shown as Unknow (card is FCC-US and I changed country code to ES using Clover patch, it should show ETSI, right? No, see Post #1, Country Code.
TACT1CAL
Hey guys! I just wanted to ask what kind of speeds you are getting as I am a little disappointed performance wise. I bought a AW-CB160H / BCM94360HMB and it's capping at ~30Mbps. Using Windows, I get roughly 144Mbps with the exact same setup. I patched my country code to DE as per post #1 and that worked. Before that I didn't even get 1Mbps. 5ghz works as well. I didn't test Handoff/Airdrop/Bluetooth as I don't need it. Thank you!
bertolin
No, see Post #1, Country Code. Thanks, Toleda for your answer! I'm reading all again, even linked threads where some users report same Locale: Unknown problem, but I can't find a solution, except this: Cosmetic Fix "Unknown -> AirPort " (optional) Name: AirPortBrcm4360 Find: 6B 10 00 00 75 0D Replace: 6B 10 00 00 90 90 I believe I tried this patch in addition to CC before but I'll give it. (UPDATE: tried with same result) If I remove my custom CC patch, locale come back to FCC and country to US losing Airdrop (iOS-OSX) and Handoff. FYI I did a fresh install and repeat every step. Airplay now works but I'm still only connection at 145Mbps.
toleda
I can't find a solution, ETSI is not a Country Code. What Country? Use the links.
bertolin
Yes, ETSI is not a country, it's what my iMac shows in locale and I thought my hack should show the same but I might be wrong. My country is Spain, I've used the 10.10-BCM94352-5GHz-FR patch.I've changed 46 52 (FR) for 45 53 (ES). Channels 12 and 13 are shown in SP
toleda
it's what my iMac shows in locale and I thought my hack should show the same but I might be wrong. With out the same vendor_id/device_id, unlikely.
