Bertie64
Hi Guys, Firstly a huge thanks for the work on this. I managed to install the Azurewave in my NUC i3 (Thunderbolt) with very few issues. Wifi & BT worked brilliantly and I had no lag to BT on startup. However, two days ago the BT started playing up. Would work for about 30 seconds and then suddenly froze for Trackpad. At the same time I would get a message saying no Keyboard detected. Yesterday I took the box apart to check everything was seated correctly and a little later it worked fine and stayed on for a few hours until everything locked up completely, forcing me to power off. After a restart the Wifi is fine but now I have no bluetooth available. The icon is in the menubar but nothing in preferences. No hardware or software changes. I have tried reinstalling kexts but to no avail. SetUp: NUC i3 (The red one with Thunderbolt) Mac OSX 10.9.2 Unfortunately no other machine to try the card in. Any ideas? wetzel
Hi toleda, thanks for your work! I was able to install the BCM94352 HMB/AzureWave AW-CE123H card and the 5Ghz patch and I have working 5Ghz wireless N. (Does not seem to do ac, though). I had to use the kext method, as ssdt did not work, and I did not want to use the dsdt method. I am using a Lenovo T420. I chose to modify IO80211family.kext rather than using the separate kext. I could not find RP0 or PEX in IOReg at all... my card shows up in ARPT. I don't really know how IORegistryExplorer works all that much though, so maybe I'm misreading it? Thanks again! The kext worked great!
treyboy484
Similar problem, but I want to use the DSDT method. When I try to apply the Airport-Broadcom-BCM94352 DSDT patch from toleda's repo, there are no changes made to the DSDT. Not sure what is wrong with the patch, maybe I'm not doing something right. Motherboard: Asus Z87i-Deluxe Thanks, Trey

applehacker
Toleda, I have a Killer 1103 card, known as the AR9380. Device Id's are 118c, 0030. OS X picks up the card without any problems or modifications, but it is unable to pick up wifi signals. It just says "looking for networks" and never finds anything. What is the fix here? Thanks

To see the bug: Turn off WIFI through the menu and turn back. Connect to the router is not able to... Also, after sleep does not connect... lisai9093
Hi Toleda, Your dsdt patch for bcm4352 works fine. But under system info, it shows third party card instead of AirPort. My system is dp2, is this normal?
toleda
Your dsdt patch for bcm4352 works fine. But under system info, it shows third party card instead of AirPort. lisai9093
2.4 GHz works, 5 GHz issues with Yosemite. Airport label is cosmetic, google search for patch. Normal. Thx for the reply. Yes, 5GHz patch is not working. So I am using the original wifi kext now. About the AirPort identification problem, I follow the steps in your repo and choose DSDT patch. Under PCI tab in system info, it shows my bcm4352 is indeed AirPort type and has name of AirPort Extreme. But under WiFi tab, it shows Third Party Wireless Card. Am I doing something wrong? Do I need additional binary patch or kext besides modifying DSDT? Thx.

toleda
I have problem with AzureWave AW-NB290 BCM943225 BCM2070. The Broadcom/AW-NB290 is not installed. An Atheros WiFi/BT is installed. lisai9093
I wonder if older kext with 5GHz patched can work for the bcm94352 card under dp2 or dp3? Cuz 5Ghz is crucial to enable airdrop and handoff functionality.
