68x
Just for further information, the Broadcom BCM4352 (Azurewave card) requires a DSDT edit to be recognized by OSX. You also need to patch a kext for Bluetooth. More information can be found here, http://forum.osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/2767-broadcom-80211-ac-wifi-and-bluetooth-combo-card-for-osx/

Not true; all three injection methods noted in Post #1 are working with the BCM4352. The BT edits are described as well. BCM4352 solutions are available from the repo noted in Post #1. iStigPL
Hi Toleda ! I read your post here and on tonycrap forum. There are some different information like: Here: Notes/Broadcom Wake on LAN - not working, update BCM4352 working 5 GHz - BCM4352 not working there: Notes - Broadcom Wake on LAN - not working (BCM94352 working) 5 GHz - not working (BCM94352) then we can notice Note: The Asus Superfast 802.11ac (Z87 Pro & Deluxe motherboards) is the BCM4352 so the question is: is that Asus module 100% working or just 2,4GHz ? also here there is some kext link next to Asus module and on tony forum there is not. I don't understand the following text: 1. BCM943352 HMB/AzureWave AW-CE123H supports both Airport and Bluetooth 4.0 The Asus Superfast 802.11ac (Z87 Pro & Deluxe motherboards) is the BCM4352 on the top there is BCM943352 and Asus module seems to belong to that, but then you wrote it is BCM4352... I'm looking for combo module - 802.11ac with Bluetooth 4.0 (half mini) - is there any working OOB ? if not - is there any working with only some SSDT edits ? are there any limitation - something is not working ? iStigPL
but AzureWave AW-CE123H is also on Broadcom BCM4352, so it will not work at 5GHz too… Is that mean there is no combo module working without any issue ?

indiandragon
Take a look here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5887 thanks pokenguyen, that's clear. I found a alternate. Instashare (http://instashareapp.com/) Does what Airdrop should have done . It has apps for OSX, iOS and Android and works efficiently between all the devices. I just shared files between Maverick, Nexus 4 and iPhone 5C without a sweat (aka internet) using Airdrop on OSX !
kjescha
Hi there, I want to patch my dsdt to get ar9285 working with native kext. The thing is, I dont realy understand the instruction. My card is on RP02 and the device id is 002B, wich is not listed by the supported. Is there a way for me to get my card working by patching dsdt? What should I do next? Could you describe the next step another way, because as I written above, I didnt understand the instruction. Thank you in advance.

In the patch file: Find: RP07 Replace: RP02 Apply Note: do not edit device_id in patch file.
kjescha
Well, this is how the patch looks like. into device Label PXSX parent_label RP07 replace_content begin Name (_ADR, Zero)\n Name (_SUN, One)\n Name (_PRW, Package (0x02) {0x09,0x04})\n Method (_DSM, 4, NotSerialized)\n {\n If (LEqual (Arg2, Zero)) { Return (Buffer() { 0x03 } ) }\n Return (Package()\n {\n "AAPL,slot-name","AirPort",\n "built-in", Buffer () {0x00},\n "device-type","AirPort",\n "model","Atheros AR9x8x 802.11 a/b/g/n Wireless Network Controller",\n "name", "AirPort Extreme",\n "compatible","pci168c,30"\n })\n }\n end; Wich part do I have to edit? kjescha
I checked the pdf... my DSDT is not "A M I". Does it mean there is no way? Or is it just untested. Could you explain it to me, why it works only with "A M I" DSDT? thx
