numberonekiwi
What I would like to do is instead of installing 10.4.6 from DVD which takes ages when you are proberly going to destroy it in minutes with updates etc is to be able to install it from a hard drive partition I have a 30GB just for testing/hacking and have set 2 partitions on it partition 1 - 4.7GB hopefully to install the boot DVD on and 2 - For the test OS I have tried carbon copy cloner but when booting to this partition I get read only errors (isn't that what a dvd is R/W )? Is there an easy way to be able to do this if I select the dmg and then burn it only shows my DVD /CD device what I need to be able to do is burn this DMG to a harddrive partition by fooling the computer that it is a DVD Can it be done if it can How?
