RobertX
temps for cpu and gfx card are way high after update....and the fermi cards need the opencl fix again... i'll be back after a restart temps still high...cpu speedstepping is working... getting this multiple times in console at startup 9/12/13 7:34:18.000 PM kernel[0]: SMC::smcReadKeyAction ERROR TH2P kSMCBadArgumentError(0x89) fKeyHashTable=0x0xffffff801157de00
TheEnthusiast
Looks like this build has some similarities to Mavericks. Some under-the-hood changes have also been made. Example: new version of AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement. (214.0.0 from 196.0.0 in version 10.8.4). Note that Mavericks version is 216.0.0.

gygabyte666
Gotta do more testing but my Haswell still doesn't have PM. If I don't boot with NullCPUPM, I get the CPUPM KP. Damn! I really need to get my CPU working. Guess my 4700MQ still hates OS X. Anyone got any tips to try out? Much appreciated.

What FakeSMC error? And you can't boot without FakeSMC on a hackintosh.
Gringo Vermelho
"Not allowed on Apple Hardware.." I guess your hack is so good that even fakesmc thought it was running on a real Mac. Catch 22

Gringo Vermelho
Technically it's "you can't boot OS X on a PC without a decrypter". It's just that FakeSMC happens to be the definitive solution to that problem. AppleDecrypt.kext and DSMOS.kext..we used to use those before FakeSMC.kext. And there were others before those, but that's before my time. http://tgwbd.org/darwin/binaryprotection.html http://www.projectosx.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=315 http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/120035-dsmoskext-r2d2kext-r3d3kext-tmpkext-and-old-appledecryptkext/ I've never seen that message and I can't tell if it comes from FakeSMC itself, aborting because it thinks your PC is a Mac, or if it comes from the Kernel and there is some sort of black-listing being done by Apple now. Latest FakeSMC works fine for me, are you sure you aren't somehow using a really old version?

And whats sad is that I find out that the CPU performance decreases dramatically even though SpeedStep is working(Maybe not perfect compared with 10.8.4 though)

I got this error a few FakeSMC versions back when I using the Enoch bootloader. The solution is to add -fakesmc-force-start to your boot flags. I switched to Chameleon and it started working again without needing the boot flag.
