I did reset the NVRAM using Option+Command+P+R, saw the colors. What I'm trying to achieve here is to boot the vanilla Yosemite USB installer using boot parameters.

 

I flashed the BIOS of my AsRock z75 Pro3 on a machine which has no operating system on it. When booting from the USB in verbose mode it hangs there:

 

 
 
So I was simply trying to see if there was a way I could boot the USB installer passing various parameters to see if it would get passed this. (ex: -v -f npci=0x3000)

 

Which cpu are you using? 

Bt error related it's not about BT but about does'nt recognize graphics card.

Suggestion, if you can, use a real Graphics card instead of integrated.

If your cpu has integrated graphics that is supported by Yosemite, maybe you have to edit OzmosisDefault injecting IntelGraphics AAPL and so on 

Read OzmosisDefault variable file to know it

If your cpu has integrated graphics that is supported by Yosemite, maybe you have to edit OzmosisDefault injecting IntelGraphics AAPL and so on 

Read OzmosisDefault variable file to know it 

 

I have an i2600K CPU. So it's HD3000 I think. I could also use a NVIDIA 560TI 1GB I have laying around.

Look this is wrong bios. Remove realtek and ioahciblockstorage kext from rom.

Put kext in EFI/Oz/Darwin/Extensions/Common folder!!!!!

Which System you try install?

 

I have SmcEmulatorKext in the patched BIOS

I do it, yes you can put ssdt into Bios.

ssdt are in raw mode, i don't remember id.

If you don't find them let me know. i'll look for you.

i remember they are just around power module.

Hi,

 

You can modify raw files which are power management aml files if you extract them with option extract body and save to aml file.

See attach file which come from your bios.

Ozmosis inject 2 devices in my system: graphics and audio. The first one is easy to disable through Defaults.plist (DisableIntelInjection). But the second....

No, i don't have VoodooHda in my bios.

Why?

I want to avoid Oz inject this:

Injected PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x1B,0x0) - "hda-gfx" = "onboard-1"

Reason: KP when rename GFX0 -> IGPU and B0D3 -> HDAU

To disable intel injection in OZ you have a key to change in OzmosisDefaults.

 

Defaults:1F8E0C02-58A9-4E34-AE22-2B63745FA101

DisableIntelInjection boolean -> Yes

 

Becarefull when changing name in DSDT, you must check if this name is used elsewhere in ssdt and also change.

No, i don't have VoodooHda in my bios.

I want to avoid Oz inject this:

Injected PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x1B,0x0) - "hda-gfx" = "onboard-1"

Reason: KP when rename GFX0 -> IGPU and B0D3 -> HDAU  

Use VoodooHda until new version will cover your motherboard specifications.
