pmcnano
I'll give that a shot. thanks. Is there a way to get the shell working? Would be nice. For the Bios setup, as soon as you hear the speaker BEEP press Escape as crazy (to disable OZ in that boot), as soon as you see the red screen, press SUPR as crazy. You will get into bios normally. If and only if you have a UEFI compatible video card, just set the setup to Windows 8 WHQL and CSM to never and you will be able to enter bios normally, that just happens in CSM. pmcnano
Well just press ESC as soon as you see your keyboard turn on. (numlock) Honestly, I have never used the efi shell and I have been using OZ for a while. I could recommend you to change the ozmosis defaults with your desired "boot args". pmcnano
Oh I actually didnt answer about that, probably the shell wasntinjected (cause of space) and thats why you dont have it
pmcnano
Damn. If it's a space thing, I'd be more than willing to just get a different board with enough space to hold it. Im pretty sure you can make the space, you just have to do it.
pmcnano
No problem! I actually replaced the smcemulator for fakesmc, and sensors. I get all the temps and everything. I also injected the Killer 2000 LAN driver (I think you use the same). You should be able to do whatever you want. I have the mx-gaming5

pmcnano
Wifi works fine in 10.11, so I must have Mangeled a kext or two in the process of doing this. HFS+!!!. My fault, hah. Here's something new: if I turn on FileVault 2, the UI to enter the password pops up fine but I can't enter text - my keyboard doesn't work. I'm talking about the UI you get on boot, by the way. I remember seeing something about keyboard issues with FileVault on a German forum before. Don't remember what they said. m0no
Since the developer release of OS X El Capitan enabling TRIM become possible without patching IOAHCIBlockStorage. Now you can use Trimforce utility for that. http://www.macrumors.com/2015/06/12/os-x-el-capitan-trim-support/ To activate "Trim" switch the key "Force Data Set Management" in the plist driver IOAHCIBlockStorage.kext. to "Yes". Trimforce utility copies /System/Library/Filesystems/AppleDataSetManagement.kext to /System/Library/Extensions. (rootless=0) (10.11).It also works with Yosemite. I put AppleDataSetManagement.kext in /S/L/E and Trim become enabled. I’ve inserted key in the FakeSMC.kext, made it binary and flashed bios. Now Trim always work.

edifice98
Hello Ozmosis guru's. I have searched high and low and have come up empty. I am not certain I want to try and make my own firmware and I am hoping that someone has already done it. Does anyone have Ozmosis firmware for the GA-Z87X-HD3? Any help would be very much appreciated!!!
