Kynyo
Hello! I've a question...It's Ozmosis compatible with eVGA Z97 FTW? On their site says it has Dual BIOS. It's MSR Locked? Thanks.
Aigors
okies i made a ozmosidedfault.plist but its still not loading and hangs at same spot, what is the correct name for the plist ozmosidefault.plist default.plist or defaults.plist i put the plist in the efi partition in the oz folder It depends where is located, if you leave Ozmosisdefault into bios you need to extract the body form FFS file from bios as you can see http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/291655-ozmosis/page-140?do=findComment&comment=2137340 Or, simply edit OzmosisDefault.plist according to your hardware, rename into Defaults, plist and put it onto /Efi/Oz folder on efi partition, in your case you have to extract it from bios modify and re insert into bios as showed in message 2137340 Hello! I've a question...It's Ozmosis compatible with eVGA Z97 FTW? On their site says it has Dual BIOS? It's MSR Locked? Thanks. Kynyo
If it's locked i'll have to patch de kernel or it can be removed by mdifying BIOS? Look like it's MSR locked.

My suggestion is read everything you can find on Ozmosis and make sure you understand it completely before trying it.
crusher
Create your OzmosisDefaults.ffs via kext2ffs and use UEFITool and Replace as body .

pmcnano
Hello! I just experienced an annoying issue, and its the second time. This time I couldnt "fix it", its driving me crazy LOL. So...I had my rig up and running perfectly. I built a new one with the same motherboard loaded my custom bios (honestly, i have a folder full of modded bios, its a mess..maybe it wasnt the same) and everything worked fine but one thing. The video card wasnt being detected correctly. I was using a OOTB compatible video card, I tried a lot of {censored} until I just thought it was the motherboard. As a last resort I decided use one of the databases bios and viola it worked, then I just added my network card ffs and everything worked fine! Ok, thats that. Now, yesterday I was trying to install El Capitan in my main rig and as soon as I ran the installer I got a KP about codeccommander (which I included in my bios, though never worked) so I decided to open the .rom file and delete the codec ffs. I did, restarted into Yosemite and BOOM video card wasnt detected correctly. I had resolution but no Retina options (its a 4k) it didnt detect the model, and just 32mb. I started swapping bioses, I even used the "new" one I used in the new rig...and it didnt work. I tried everything and now my video card is not detected correctly OOTB, however, with Nvidia drivers it works fine. What the hell? Anybody has a clue? pmcnano
Well, lol. Good luck, however that doesnt answer this weird issue thats happening. edit: Well this is pissing me off, I have tried everything, why exactly would OSX stop loading the default graphic drivers? It doesnt make sense. And if I try to boot Yosemite installer (or Capitan) it will KP on NVidia kext's. I've tried vanilla bios, just adding minimal ozmosis, bios from the databases, old bioses I used to use....I mean why it worked and now it doesnt... crusher
Look men for me work fine. You must download Nvidia WebDriver and add this flags: sudo nvram 7C436110-AB2A-4BBB-A880-FE41995C9F82:boot-args="kext-dev-mode=1 nvda_drv=1" and use this rom:
