Pavo
No. Then your processor id is not on list, yet, maybe on future... My HD4600 is working fine with <key>AAPL,ig-platform-id</key> <integer>170262534</integer>

Edit: 0x0C260000 seems to be working fine also 07:154 00:000 Found Intel Intel HD Graphics 4600 [8086:0412] PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x2,0x0) 07:154 00:000 Injected PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x2,0x0) - "model" = "Intel HD Graphics 4600" (22) - Success 07:154 00:000 Injected PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x2,0x0) - "built-in" = 00 (1) - Success 07:154 00:000 Injected PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x2,0x0) - "class-code" = 00 00 03 00 (4) - Success 07:154 00:000 Injected PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x2,0x0) - "hda-gfx" = "onboard-1" (10) - Success 07:154 00:000 Using Custom AAPL,ig-platform-id 0x0C260000 07:154 00:000 Injected PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x2,0x0) - "AAPL,ig-platform-id" = 00 00 26 0C (4) - Success 07:154 00:000 Found Intel Haswell HDA Controller [8086:0C0C] PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x3,0x0) 07:154 00:000 Found HDA Codec #0: Intel Haswell HDMI/DP [8086:2807] Rev 0x00 Stepping 0x00 07:154 00:000 Found Intel 9 Series HDA Controller [8086:8CA0] PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x1B,0x0)

joe75
Pavo, vHDA injection is only for the oz vHDA in bios. For you its just loading like a normal kext in extensions
uglyJoe
it's i7-4790k any other way to inject ig-platform without ssdt/dsdt? I inject the intel graphic succesfully from dsdt/ssdt but for testing I removed the relevant code. To get it working without dsdt injection, I have to set <key>Defaults:1F8E0C02-58A9-4E34-AE22-2B63745FA101</key> <dict> <key>DisableIntelInjection</key> <false/> <key>AAPL,ig-platform-id</key> <integer>0x0d220003</integer> </dict>

tuxuser
To reduce failure due byteswapping, I would recommend converting the Hexvalue to decimal integer. That's failproof Thx Pavo and THe KiNG for the golden hint

pehera
Will work perfectly fine, I use my ROM and MLB from my MBP on 5 of my hacks and have iMessage and FaceTime working fine, I can even use FaceTime from 2 or 3 different machines at the same time no issues Can that be done even if you use other than MBP Sysdef. on your hacks like iMac 14,2 ,Mac Mini 6,2 sm bios serials ? Ritz Carltn
In case of GA-H81M-D2V.FB rom(Rev.2.0), not Rev 1.0.it quite interesting,It increased ROM capacity, from 8M to 10M,and I failed using OZMTool - v0.2. Instead of, use Pheonix Tool.http://rghost.net/58771303In addition, if you don't know the procedure of recovery BIOS, you have to go Gigabytes A/S Center.Even recovered Backup BIOS, it also failed recognizing Bootable partition, Damn,I lost two mobo. WinstonAce
After playing with ig-platform for my hd4600, I realized that my smbios (iMac 15,1) doesn't support Intel graphics (disabled in new IMac's) Reverting to 14,2 solved it. Thanks to all for helping.

ammoune78
Wow more false information, not sure where you find this stuff. iASL version is NOT chipset related by any means at all. In case you had not seen, I have already replied to it: "You have to use it with MacIASL ACPI 5".
