Hi,

I can not update to 10.14.4. I use new KernextPatcher 10.14.4+ plist but i get a black screen after first reboot on installation and nothing happens anymore. Nothing has been installed. I can also normal start 10.14.3.

 

I started the installation (Pic 1).

The installation starts after the restart (Pic 2).

After a few seconds come messages (Pic 3) and than a reboot.

Now he start from "Installer (10.14.4)". But it comes only a black screen and nothing happens. No activity on the SSD.

 

When I select again from bios boot menu "Installer (10.14.4)" (Pic 4) a black screen appears again and nothing happens.

I managed to boot Mojave 10.14.4 without Darboot with this Ozmosis release, but I had to disable Intel HD4600 and use a discrete graphics. Otherwise I have black screen straight on.

Do you have any hints for me for using Intel HD 4600?

I have no graphics injection in ozmosis, everything is done with the DSDT. Same DSDT works with clover with no need of injection or patches to boot Mojave 10.14.4

Would somebody please be so nice and write the new macOS 10.15 Catalina KernelPatches (KBEMojaCata...EXT, KBECata...SIP, KBECata...KxldUnmap)

into the KernextPatcher for Ozmosis

And provide KernextPatcher.plist and FFS here for people to test. Please don't forget to rename the Patches properly (according to the existing Patches) and to clean up the Plist before injecting it into KernextPatcher.ffs ;)

What kind of mobo do you use? 

It did work for me on the MSI Z87I AC but not on the AsRock Z87 Extreme9

On the Asrock I am getting the same black screen so I suppose that the OsxAptioFix2Drv is not the right one for this mobo. When you are using clover, you can easily choose which OsxAptioFix to use with your mobo until you find the one which is working but with ozmosis its little bit more complicated for the moment.

So my question to uglyJoe and cecekpawon, is it possible to modify/create all the other OsxAptioFix drivers so we can choose the right one for our mobo? For example the OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000 I would like to try...

I could really do with some help to get Catalina running on my hack. as the installer takes a long time. and the hack will not complete install for me. I know how to extract the kernextPatcher.plist. I need to know what to change in the plist to get the pc to finish the installer. see pic

You will not be able to Boot Catalina without altering the Kext-Injection Patch in KernextPatcher. You can find everything that's needed here: 

Otherwise I will provide the files necessary for Catalina in about one week.

Ok, it is not working :(

 

I have same config running with Mojave and I have Catalina running from OpenCore.

But if I try to boot Catalina from Ozmozis I got only this from KernextPatcherLog

I started to collect all known Ozmosis patches, thanks to @TypeThree, so everyone may patch by their own hands with their own needs here:

About KernextPatcher: it looks like (failed to create or catch ExitBS event / failed to determine Darwin booter / you guys curently booting to Windows or something), so KernextPatcher will do nothing there. Feel free to drop comments on gist above, I will try to recompile with extra debug messages.

 

PS: I dont have 10.15 aka Catalina installed, so I cant test by self.
