ammoune78
Ok I didn't reached full install process with Oz, assuming that it do the first install process but it's after rebooting and when finishing the 2nd install process it crash! So I leaved Oz install and go back to clover install, got it, and now fine booting process and finally reached desktop with patched Oz and it's APFS inside BIOS to macOS High Sierra HD, so here's a screenshot: This means that the cecekpawon patched Oz works with this baby, but still finding how to get full install with only OZ stuffs! CECEKPAWON you're THE MAN Now i'll reboot and do a 2nd install with only Oz, and I hope if it can be done by changing things in OzmDef, because the FF and FFM even in integer didn't worked!

mhaeuser
Guys, if you care for the lifetime of your flash chips, don't integrate it. On Macs, it is loaded from HDD, so can change with any update. I don't think APFS is close enough to final yet for the entire driver to be considered just that. Either load it from HDD or be ready to re-flash with every update.

Kynyo
Any clues? Still getting ACPIPlatform error. Not able to boot the system or usb installer. It may be related to graphics? Tried to boot with HD4600 and GTX 1060 Vesa mode. Not working...yet!

ammoune78
The problem here is not APFS in BIOS or in HDD, but reaching out the High Sierra Desktop with only Oz and it's stuffs! Kynyo have you renamed GFX0 with IGPU? Then PEGP to GFX0? You can do it by clover or DSDT in the USB/ESP! Because I don't know what's the problem with your rig! bs0d
most eeproms have a life expectancy of at least 100,000 read/write cycles, flashing a few times is negligible in relation to how many times the nvram is rewritten in normal operations. but yeah don't bother to flash apfs yet.

Also changing the board-id as suggested by you doenst work? Here for macpro6: "MP61.88Z.0116.B44.1705011717". The date could be calculated: 05/01/2017 (thanks to @TheRacerMaster). cecekpawon
But its clearly stated here that we must use integer for that key. Or maybe you can directly store it to NVRAM?

I've tested real Mac FF & FFM and the one posted then same problem. I need to understand what I'm doing because something is wrong maybe, just for example, if I have this BiosVersion IM151.88Z.0207.B11.1612222107, ProductId Mac-42FD25EABCABB274 and this SystemSerial C02MFIISGDR9, what BiosDate, FirmwareFeatures and FirmwareFeaturesMask should I have? ammoune78
Ok now, a small report here with my experience: 1- When using SmcEmulatorKext work fine but still need update for SMC keys, if I change them by my self I got ACPICPU S**t, but native one can't let you finish install HSierra, otherwise if already installed enjoy it! 2- If I use FakeSMC and it's stuffs I got ACPICPU, BRRRRRRR 3- In the boot log that I uploaded to cecekpawon, I was booting with real Mac SMBios and it's FF & FFM, always same thing as now, it keep crashing because of FF & FFM problem - My conclusion is that the SmcEmulatorKext & it's stuffs needs to be updated - You have to generate a valid SMBios and it's FF & FFM in OzmosisDefaults - Also booting with IGPU may solve a 50% the problem, like I did with Clover when installing HSierra If someone can update the SmcEmulatorKext & it's stuffs, he will help everyone who need to install High Sierra
