Is there an Ozmosis success list - Motherboards/ Desktops/ Laptops where people have had success inserting it into the BIOS/ UEFI? 

For lattpos not but for Desktop you have on Germany forums. Possibe on all UEFI motherboard but you must have a space in ROM.

The most used mobo are from gigabyte, they have dualbios mechanism and they don't have any security mechanism that avoid to update bios with modified one.

Asus need to be updated with crash bios feauture or via bios clip with spi programmer, asrock need spi programmer.

These experience are from my daily hobby works

Hello everyone !

I'm starting to learn more about ozmosis, but unfortunately i cannot boot to OS x without the boot_flag = nv_disable =1 . 

Can someone make take a look  defaults.plist for oz_167x and  and edit it for my rig ? - attached my clover_config

I'm using this rom file for bios B75DS3V_OZ_167X_F9.rom.zip - https://www.hackintosh-forum.de/index.php/Thread/18354-Ozmosis-Mod-f%C3%BCr-B75D3V-Rev-1-2/ without any changes and the default plist from https://www.hackintosh-forum.de/index.php/Board/188-OzmosisDefaults-Vorlagen/-  Version 167X-MASS. 

 Right now i'm using clover to boot up, but i want to switch to ozmosis.

It's mandatory to fresh install os x when i switch to ozmosis, because i didn't do it, i just tried to boot without clover bootloader.

Here you go. After install OS X you install NVidia WebDriver and put this Defaults.plist in EFI/Oz and reset NVRAM.

Thanks crusher for the help. Unfortunately i'm stuck at bios logo. I can only boot with escape(deactivate ozmosis). I found a mistake in the default.plist at the boot args which was making the plist unreadable . Did you insert the plist into rom?

yes i added nv_disable=1 in defaults and in second i added nvda_drv=1. Remove your GPU and connect to IGPU after flash go to settings your bios and after back your GPU inside.

But could the defaults.plist in the rom be unreadable(invalid jason format) - because the one you provided me was like this :

<dict>

    <key>boot-args</key>

    <string>darkwake=0 nvda_drv=1</string>

    <key>csr-active-config</key>

    <integer size=32>0x7F</integer>

<dict>   ->   here was the problem instead of </dict>

 

And i think that maybe the one inside the rom while be the same. Could you please check ? Am a newbie in the rom files.

1. My sound ins't working so i ask you : do i put the audio kext in the oz folder or can be integrated into bios rom?

2. Whatever i do my bios doesn't save the boot order and the windows boot loader came first into boot , and i boot to osx with F12.

No you dont have a space from Audio kext in ROM.

Install this kext via kext wizard app and repair premissions and rebuild cache.

No audio yet. I've tried with the one you provide and with the toleda's script - Realtek ALC AppleHDA Audio

lol use and disable SIP with 0x67 or 0x7F this is your probelm.

Hi.

This bios can gain much more free space by compressing coredxe.

 

where are you man I dont see you very,very long time. I know for compress CORE_DXE and I dont need every time from compress.

I am very busy at work,and dont have much time for myself and IM community.

Now i dont have my macmini anymore soo i come back to see how u guys going with oz and going to make some hack again with ozmosis.

The most used mobo are from gigabyte, they have dualbios mechanism and they don't have any security mechanism that avoid to update bios with modified one.

Asus need to be updated with crash bios feauture or via bios clip with spi programmer, asrock need spi programmer.

These experience are from my daily hobby works 

 

Any Gigabyte/ ASUS laptops that had success?

Hi friends, as far you know can i install Mavericks with MSI Gtx 989 with last ozmosis into Asrock z87 extrem4 tb4? I followed a friend that told me to use nvd_disable to install Mavericks, after installation complete i revert the setting into Defaults.plist to nvda_drv=1 but the system start and reboot restart and reboot and so on without working.
My procedure was 

Hardware 

Mobo Asrock Z87 extreme4 tb4 

Bios last version with ozmosis 167X

CPU Xeon E3 -1220 V3 

Smbios Imac 14,2

 

I put bootflag nv_disable=1 into Deafaults.plist into bios, start and ending installation, ok

Install WebDriver,Put setting nvda_drv=1 into Defaults.plist into bios

Continuosly reboot 

Any hints?

Did you reset nvram after setting the nvda_drv=1 into plist? if not do it.
