sudo nvram 1F8E0C02-58A9-4E34-AE22-2B63745FA101:DisableNvidiaInjection=%01

Paste that in terminal or add it on Defaults.plis under the same GUID(do not forget 4 finger reset so new Defaults will be read) or with HermitShell(latest from AOS bios) using setvar and same GUID(If you do not know how run setvar -?).

My OzmosisDefaults.Plist used in Ozmosis Bios is incorrect, it is written wrong and have not seen DisableNvidaInjection because the site https://github.com/t...er/OzmosisBIOSis wrong

The site is not wrong just not up to date, there was a typo: DisableNvidaInjection - > DisableNvidiaInjection that was corrected on later builds...

I broke the head because of an "i" missing. kkkk

 

My Internal card reader (SD, Micro SD...) does not work with SMBIOS iMac but work as Mac Pro, you know why this occurs or can direct me to where I can learn more about SMBIOS how it affects the Hackintosh?

The strangest thing just happened to me. I decided it's time to reinstall osx, I booted into recovery, deleted El capitan partition and chose to reinstall osx.

The installer started to download latest dmg from the app store and it took a while so I left it.

When I came back, the pc was stuck at post logo. Shutdowns and restarts and same result, can't enter bios, can't do anything.

Used backup bios to reflash original bios and the pc boot and enter bios, reflashed Oz bios and again - stuck at boot logo without ability to enter bios or do anything beside reset/shut down.

The post is stuck at "Detect and install all currently connected IDE devices." By the motherboard debug led code.

I don't have IDE controller on my motherboard.

The motherboard is z97x-ud5h.

When I disconnect all sata devices the computer boot with Oz bios.

And idea?

How many bootable volumes do you have on your system when you've connected all your drives?

 

I ask as I had a similar issue which ended up being down to my buggy ASUS bios. Ozmosis builds a list of all bootable volumes and adds them as boot entries for easy boot selection. I used to have a high number of these ranging from working OS's - OS X 10.6 thru OS X 10.11, recovery HD's. Then other development, backup and test OS X volumes. And also OS X installers and Windows. They totalled maybe 23 in all, and when Ozmosis tried to add all of them as boot entries (and HermitShell too) it caused nvram corruption (too much data to fit) which resulted in the bios failing with debug code of IDE detect. Only reflashing would fix it in my case.

Had this problem, I think this happens when the BIOS reads the VRAM since solved the problem by turning off the PC passed the bios screen, did a reset of Vram so that it does not happen again.

Will be added the feature to differentiate the icons for each system ? Read the custom Icon in the system or have different icons for each system in OzmosisTheme .

No way to choose which boot system in the Startup Disk ? Here does not work choose the Mac as principal in the bios setup or the Startup Disc Preferences

 

Or command in Terminal to change the default boot for Mac OS X ?

Hello to all !...

 

I am the owner of a 100% working Ozmosis Hackintosh based on Gigabyte Z87MX D3H with v894m because of the Fusion Drive I set up. After carefully reading the topic, it seems that v1669, now support raid and especially Apple Core Storage... anyone can confirm so ? I mean, can I update my BIOS and make it work with my Fusion Drive ?...

Can someone with an Ozmosis Z77 Hackintosh with working iTunes Video/Movies DRM please share there settings/setup?

 

Are you injecting Intel with Oz, DSDT or both?

What SMBIOS information are you using?

Whats AAPL,ig-platform-id framebuffer is being used?

 

This is the only particular that I can't figure out, even though others have it working without issues.

Hi Friends, i'm assembling a Hackintosh with last ozmosis with a Asus P8Z77 I deluxe, whit an I5-3570 and gtx660, i need a correct smbios for this kind of machine, could someone point me to a program to build correct Defaults.plist?

I have GA z87 hd3 bord, and i have problems with making OZ for it, in 1669 Oz i don't have enough room for core Oz files.

Can you help with what could be deleted from BIOS except compressed CORE_DXE to put base Oz thing there.

 

On DE forum, they say: OZ 1669 kann aktuell nicht in diesen Rom eingesetzt werden da der freie Platz nicht ausreicht, and if i understood well - there is no room for new oz(

Hi,

 

I have the Z87 UD5h and if I recall correctly you can delete the network stack files. You can use ozmtool with aggressive switch to compress the files.

2) How properly install R9 280X with new Oz? Because now istat shows that card almost always loaded full. 

p.s. I know, this is lame questions, but Oz don't have any documentation and main post in thread didn't changed since new features has arrived.

1. The default.plist from 1479 should work without issues. Nothing was renamed. This was already answered in previous posts.

2. I don't know what clover has to do with Ozmosis?

3. Read the last 5-6 pages has all the newer 1669M information.
