The site developer is also inactive Ozmosis, builds and we are very outdated. I'm trying to use the Ozmosis in a UD5H-Z97X-BK and am encountering several difficulties. joe75 Posted August 22, 2014 Share Posted August 22, 2014 Yes, I have seen reports of the site being offline but keep in mind that Ozmosis is not affiliated with Quo and was originally just an update to the Quo AOS firmware. The hackintosh project has been existed a long time there, and there is a multitude of ways to install OS X. But Ozmosis has shaped us with these features, and in addition to that, everyone finds a way to get what they want, some of them will go to QUO while others prefer to create their own monsters. suddenly! QUO sells and the others too. I don't know if QUO will stop selling, but I don't want to be that. Because the motherboards industry is still active. xelanaiznac Posted August 26, 2014 Share Posted August 26, 2014 I have the same Problem :-( i have read somewhere that the only solution is to call apple. you must have almost one legitime mac registered with the account. you have to provide the code and they will unlock the account problem solved. here the solution: call apple. give them the correct serial (created with chameleon wizard or clover configurator). once the operator answers, tell him that you have to complete the iMessage activation. tell him that you are at work so you don't have the imac in front of you. give him the client code. unlock is done :-) the issue afflicts both iMessage and FaceTime Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
HBP Posted August 28, 2014 Share Posted August 28, 2014 (edited) if anyone has a moment and could look this over, I have tried with and without FakeSMC in the Bios, for this board. the issue I am having is that the Keys FakeSMC is s'posed to propagate, (REV, MSDS, etc) are not being injected wether I leave it out and put in Quo's Extension folder, the System folder, or have them FFS to put into the bios itself. the only unique thing about this build is that I used a Xeon E3-1245-V2 instead of an i7. the board is an Z77X-up5 th Rom file attached has DSDT edits, and FakeSMC, but does not load FakeSMC injection... Well luckily it is working and i was able to install mavericks using vanilla createmedia script usb installer and setup custom smbios using nvram. I have one more question. It looks like os x is loading wrong framebuffer. Is it possible to correct it in ozmosis like it was using chameleon? F. E. My setup is Asus Sabertooth x79 with Intel 4930K CPU + nvidia GTX 760 2GB. Had my system fully running with Clover, but Ozmosis looks mutch nicer!
