FredWst
I have SMC Error as followings. What version do you use? I used FakeSMC.Rev-5.3.820. Even I put FakeSMC.kext, 6.8.1307, in /Efi/Quo/Darwin/Extensions/Common folder, it didn't working. Should I remove FakeSMC.Rev-5.3.820 in Firmware? http://i.imgur.com/TPzjLk1.jpg Hi, You can try FakeSmc from Slice. You'd don't need to remove FakeSmc from bios. http://www.projectosx.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=2585&st=0&start=0 Fred

Ritz Carltn
check this OZDefaults.plist just edit it with your smbios data.dont touch this (Defaults:4D1EDE05-38C7-4A6A-9CC6-4BCCA8B38C14) add it to your Bios and flash. after this boot into OSX and enter this in terminal with your own ROM restart and your ROM is saved sudo nvram 4D1EDE05-38C7-4A6A-9CC6-4BCCA8B38C14:ROM=%00%00%00%00%00Good luck Weird, I replaced with your OZDefaults.plist in /Volumes/EFI/EFI/Quo then it booted as MacPro3,1 instead of iMac12,2. Is there Wizard in there? or I missed something?

No DSDT edits or Graphics Enabler required for GTX6xx and higher. slide=0 is already in Ozmosis. nvda_drv=1 you can use the NVIDIA drivers not apple driver. npci=0x2000 OR npci=0x3000 is for freezing at [PCI Configuration Begin].

Aigors
Did anyone out there try this on a laptop motherboard? For what i know, no, because laptop it's' hard to unbrick in case of some bad flash, the only way it's disassemble laptop, connect wires to the bios chip then remount. In case of bad flash you can program bios using external wires but you need a spi hardware programmer or raspberry, if you dig in thread you can see how-to. xelanaiznac
hi guys. please, has anyone a recent signed kozlec fakesmc to share? i mean a 6.9 signed version (if not signed it will not work with ozmosis)

xelanaiznac
When did that happen? i mean that putting into bios the signed kozlec version that someone posted here sometime ago, it worked. if putting a kozlec version (not signed) as 6.8, 6.9 etc, it doesn't work (for me and for a lot of people here)
Ritz Carltn
But, I always have these issue. Ozmosis GA-B75M-D3H + GTX 650 10.9.4 I think it depend on GPU Issue. http://imgur.com/share/a/9Xue6 When I choose Built-in EDK Shell or Machintosh HD Partition. And I also setup npci=0x2000 in com.apple.Boot.plist. I don't use NVIDIA drivers atm. Plz, let me know 1. Do I need additional Boot-Flag? 2. How could I EDK Shell for insert variable or debugging when I choose BuiltIn EDK Shell for Booting. 3. Am I right of select BuiltIn EDK Shell or Machintosh HD for Ozmosis Booting? HBP
with a little German, you can have your pre-moded Bios done for you and only need to update the System Serial and Processor Serial @ least for GigaByte Boards. Ozmosis UEFI Firmware Databank from Hackintosh-Forum.de btw, the code on the first post about how to change Serials was invaluable. Thank you all HBP
salvatorepolito
I would ask if someone is using latest ozmosis with an ATI card. I'm on a gigabyte z87x-ud4h and I got everything working using the integrated hd4600, but if I attach my r7 260x I get a black screen. xelanaiznac
hi guys. i'm now working with my mackintosh. i upgrade the cpu o 4790k. i've done a clean installation without issue. the problem is that it doesn't start. it hangs on the apple grey logo. perhaps i need to modify something on bios? (a part from disabling vt/d) with 4770k, no issue how can i boot with -v flag on osmosis?
joe75
what board is it? vt/d is not a problem for me booting Oz, i do need to disable it or patch to boot with Clover. To boot -v hold the Command-V keys on boot (Command = Win-Key) You could also try reseting Oz with Command-R-Option-P keys pressed at once (Option = Alt-key) ...aka Four Finger Reset

Israel Fernandes
As the Ozmosis had no further update, does anyone know the whereabouts of the developer? Has some source code? Or if you hesitate the chance to make a port of clover equal to Ozmosis?
joe75
Ozmosis is a driver and Clover is an application. They are only equal in the fact that they both help us to load boot.efi. Quo builds of ozmosis are whats available at this time but please be patient and have faith that big updates to Oz are coming soon and should make everyone very happy with the progress the developers have made.
