A temporary solution is to unplug/re-plug your DVI ( if you are using it )

Problem is wrong Ozmosis giving wrong framebuffer for HD7750, it should be Dashimaki

Try Clover with that framebuffer;) you'll see what I mean ;)

Yes friend. I use this framebuffer (dashimaki). I'm using the HDMI port.

There is a way to make the bootloader Ozmosis set the correct framebuffer for this board?

fantastic, problem solved.

i have done a clean installation with slice fakesmc into bios. then i put the kozlec 6.9 with sensors into SLE.

after that i rebooted, but the system doesn't load. i rebooted again and voila, everything is working (with kozlec 6.9 overriding slice fakesmc put into bios).

thanks to all of you

You have a PM!

I've the same board + cpu as you, and I would ask in PM if you want to share with me your work..

Dsdt2Bios use capstone engine, you need first to install package you will find here http://www.capstone-engine.org/download.html

Core engine for Mac OSX - x86_64 binaries osx.png

DMG

NOTE: This is necessary for all bindings & also for C programming.

This DMG installer contains:

  • README & license file.
  • The Capstone header files (*.h) for C programming.
  • 64-bit dylib & static libraries for Mac OSX x86_64.

How to

First you need to extract AmiBoardInfo from your bios with Coderush UEFITools.

attachicon.gifhelp-1.JPG

Second use Dsdt2Bios to generate AmiBoardInfo.bin, replace with UEFITools in bios file.

Save file and it is ready to Flash.

I get an error when trying to insert Core_DXE compressed into the ROM. I saw someone at projectosx had the same problem. Is it solved or is this only possible on newer Bios.

Gigabyte z68 Uefi beta Bios : https://www.dropbox.com/s/hhh1abfzyjsp0xi/Z8MXUD2H.rom

Here it should run with Mavericks, Ozmosis 894m

Since no PartitionDXE is included, Snow Leopard will not run on DVD

Is it possible to re-enable nVidia SLI with the Ozmosis Firmware in a future build?

I can confirm this with Win7 and Win8.1 that nVidia drivers (all recent versions up to 337.88) do not recognise/provide SLI option in the nVidia Control Panel.

I've tested with:

2 x GTX 280s

2 x GTX 480s

2 x GTX Titans

and have used multiple SLI cables.

Only F2N and F3A (original Firmware) permit SLI...

Is this something that can be investigated? as this board is also a rock'n gaming board!

Cheers,

Just an idea, but you could try using the DSDT from the original firmware and see if that works that could help narrow it down.

hi guys, here for the new project. i'm going to prepare an osmosis bios for my new rampage4extreme.

the problem for now it's that i can't apply to bios my modified dsdt.

i'm using dsdt2bios 0.4.11 (and tried even with older version 0.4.10) and it gives me this error: file has .rom section, it can't be patched.

if i use the older dsdt2bios r3, using terminal, i have no issue while adding the patched dsdt to my bios (through amiboardinfo.bin obviously).

i attached my stock amiboardinfo.bin and my patched dsdt

have you extracted PE32 body from AmiBoardInfo ?

yes, following the guide step by step (i made a perfect bios for the z87x ud4h, so i have a little bit experience). then i integrated the patched dsdt into the amiboardinfo.bin following your italian guide (with dsdt2bios r3 and it worked).

i want to understand why it doesn't work with d2dt2bios 0.4.11

i'm not going to flash the bios until someone clarify this situation, cause it has not dual-bios and i don't want to rma the card :-)

here you are:

-4901 + ozmosis files + original dsdt

-patched dsdt+ssdt pikersaplha

-patches list for dsdt (thanks to shilohh)

Hi,

I've try to find what's going wrong with bios with .ROM section, and i've not found. :(

After many test, it decided to forbid patch for those kinds of bios.

So as i understand, it was working for you with old rev. may be because DSDT was lower than stock in bios.

Can you confirm ?

if Yes i'll check that in futur rev.

Do you have another way to recover your BIOS if something goes wrong? If so, I have something to test for you ;)
