Hi, Z77 bios are affected by nvram not saving if nvramsmi module is in bios. so for Z77-DS3H last bios working is f10h. truemac Posted July 14, 2014 Share Posted July 14, 2014 I created a UEFIPatch for ASUS boards, add into to the patches.txt and let it do it's job: # unlock nvram write-protection for asus main boards # if nvram write protection is still active remove nvramsmi module 7B8DB049-C7C7-4D3B-809F-926DEE47CCA2 10 P:33c00c20b21f:33c09090b21 for gigabyte boards it's a different method. anyway I recommend applying this patch manually using coderush's uefitool cause then you can be sure the module checksums are corrected. open your ROM in uefitool and search for SBSMI, then uefitool: select PR32+ image, rightclick > extract body to sbsmi.bin > hxd: apply patch=replace pattern > uefitool: rightclick PE32+ image > replace body with patched sbsmi.bin > uefitool: save rom > fpt: flash rom DO IT ALL AT YOUR OWN RISK. Giving error and not allow me to add the rest of the files. I did everything. Compress the "Coredxe" and replacing it by compressed. Liberated space, leaving more than 1 MB. During that would inserted files, I checked the remaining space, until it gave error and saw that I was "0" space. Could anyone help me modify my Bios?
