Mine is always zeros. i read somewhere about ROM is calculated based on firewire mac address

check this OZDefaults.plist just edit it with your smbios data.dont touch this (Defaults:4D1EDE05-38C7-4A6A-9CC6-4BCCA8B38C14)

add it to your Bios and flash.

after this boot into OSX and enter this in terminal with your own ROM restart and your ROM is saved

sudo nvram 4D1EDE05-38C7-4A6A-9CC6-4BCCA8B38C14:ROM=%00%00%00%00%00

my hw mac adress is 10:bf:48:bc:49:be however it's impossible to get a firewire mac adress for my board as there's no firewire controller onboard.

Hi Guys, 

 

first sorry for my bad english, I'm from germany. In the signature you can see my hardware. Every forum I traveled so far can't help me with my problem. 

 

 

I'm running my hackintosh with Ozmosis and most of my hardware running out of the Box expect my sound which I have to postinstall. 

 

 

The main problem I have is with an USB microphone. I use it for just 60 minutes and after that I got weird sounds and have to unplug the microphone that it works properly. The second problem I have are infrequent reboots and freezes. Here are some examples from some error messages after reboot:

your dsdt is probably unfixed, attach a dump as a zip for a review.

How can I apply this with Ozmosis? 

You can put DSDT in Efi/Quo/Acpi/Load or you can put DSDT into bios as explained in first post in thread

This is totally not working for me! My system boots normal. But after it I have no sound and my hd4600 have 6mb memory. The only thing that works is my ethernet and my bluetooth

have you patched your DSDT with section for your internal video card?

hi guys, here again. got a great deal for a rampage 4 extreme. i have not confirmed yet, because i have a question: is this possible to use osmosis with x79 asus? 

or is better to go with gigabyte x79? please help me in choosing a x79 mobo compatible with ozmosis

The nvram might well be locked on a current BIOS version but if you go back to an older one it should be unlocked. My P9X79 PRO has locked nvram now but that was added in an update so I could go back to an older BIOS if I needed it.

 

Unfortunately Ozmosis never worked with this board (although it did for others) so I've stuck to Clover for that one.

Here's your Rom with updated DSDT Layout to F9 with all he's patches and deleted SSDT's, because you use the Rom that i've posted earlier!

Now i've uploaded your modified Rom with DSDT already patched, AmiBoardInfo.bin already patched and DSDT.aml already patched,  so you can see the differences between the older one ;).

So here you go:                AmiBoardInfo.bin.zip        DSDT.aml.zip

If you steel have the reboot problem, put Ozmosis.ffs under OzmosisDefaults.ffs, and delete it from boot volume with UEFITool for Mac OS X :yes: !

For your X79 SABERTOOTH, this guy can help you  :yes:,  i'm sure, because he's speciality is building a X79 Hackintosh Boards ^_^. Just look at x79 DMG on the top of the page  ;).

hi ammoune, thank you. i know andrew's blog, and i use his files but i want to create a better dsdt, while rampage makes few mods using ssdt:-)

Thank you very much! Do I only have to flash the bios or should I do anything else with the AmiBoardinfo and DSDT(Efi/Quo/Acpi/Load)? Sorry for the dumb questions, but until now I only flashed my bios and nothing else :) Thanks for your patience :)
