- i still have yellow mark on Microsoft ACPI Compliant Embedded Controller win 8.1

- with this dsdt www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/291655-ozmosis/page-33#entry2011821 i can boot with HD 4600 enabled, could you check it

Hi Aigors!

You can try this attached AmiBoardInfo.ffs allready patched for your board, or try the DSDT.aml, but think always use one of this two files not two in same time, and you have to use InjectorKext.ffs of Ozmosis because he make injection for your ALC892!. Hope if it works :yes:  ^_^

It has nothing to do with alc892...

Hi Aigors!

The path to put your DSDT is:

Disk0s1\Efi\Quo\Acpi\Load\:

Do you have Two folders in the EFI partition: APPLE and Quo? :worried_anim:

But Load from bios default followed by GUID of module AmiBoardInfo indicate that the osmosis has detected your DSDT.aml, and have 2 modified DSDT? :worried_anim:  First one in: "Load" path and the second in "AmiBoardInfo.ffs"?. :worried_anim:

Any way can you upload your bios and DSDT to see what happened

Just flash bios and report.

Bios its updated with latest oroms.

Removed unneeded modules to make space.

added igpu(HD4600),hdau,hdef and dtgp to dsdt,removed scope TZ to make space for patches.no additional patches to dsdt soo all windows version must work from xp to 8.1(i am using same patches and this its tested)

Modded defaults for imac14,2.

Added latest slice fakesmc.

What bios version u use ?

EDIT,it seems that f6a have much more space for this mod.

i only need u to say whats device id of your atheros.

Is it 1083 or 1091 ?

this is the result

on maverick works perfectly

but i cant boot into windows

it hangs on windows logo

and got BSOD if 4600 enabled

seems it fakesmc related

Hi Xpam, does you to my Build bios ozmosis with AmiboardIfo and  added igpu (HD4600), ASUS NVIDIA 650 1GB, HDMI AUDIO(HD4600 & NVIDIA 650)?

MY SYSTEM IS

Z87M-D3H BIOS V10a

CPU: I3 4330

GPU HD4600 & NVIDIA 650

 

of course,its same as my build but i dont use nvidia graphics soo it does not have nvidia HDMI but u can try what i use.

i think that gtx 650 its supported by ozmosis soo we dont need dsdt edits for this card but test it and then we will add this and hdmi for this nvidia if needed.

no i dont use 4600

it just because the previous DSDT that i got from somewhere work with 4600 enabled

could you please make it one for me without add igpu

The Injector.kext(not .ffs) is for legacy(Chameleon?) users.

For the rest of ALC892 users Ozmosis does take care of  codec initialization, verbs and setup, there is no need for Injector...

Hi xpam, now i'm at home, my spec are 

 

Mainboard GAZ87N-WIFI REV 1.00 PC BIOS VERSION F5 ATHEREOS ID 1091 

cpu intel i3-4130-T hd4000 graphic 

I have already updated all oprom and delete tcpstuff because no room to update all oprom via UBI

I dont know what makes this error.

My dsdt works great in windows becouse dont apply any patches to dsdt,i fix errors and only add igpu.hdau,hdef and dtgp manualy.

I know that i get this yellow icon if i apply toleda gpu patches and they rename devices and it seems that this makes errors in windows.

Look at my bios dsdt and make same changes and try.

if u dont know what i mean i will make amiboardinfo.ffs for your board in my way after 1 hour i am busy right now.

 

Doo u use hd 4600 or no?

What patches u need if u dont use hd4600,only hdef ? and hdau for gtx 770 ?
