Daist Posted December 30, 2015 Share Posted December 30, 2015 What wrong with Clover Configurator ? AFAIK that's the best way to get a hang of Clover before going the geek way. It's because the authors of the Configurator have nothing to do with the creation of Clover. They only made a pretty shell that allows you to write into config.plist only the info they allow you to. Any custom modifications like extra boot arguments will be deleted. If you feel ready to edit config.plist, spend some more time and read the manual on Clover. A user must NOT edit all config entries.... There is a difference if an entry is absent in config.plist, or the entry presents with wrong value. Can CC fully erase an entry from config.plist? I don't know because I didn't use it. If the entry is absent then Clover will calculate the best value. If present then the static value will be used. Let me know for USB 3.0 Well two more things changes in El Capitan 1:-Brightness need new Kext (IntelBacklight.kext) 2:-USB 3.0 (GenericUSBXHCI.kext) (WORKS ON 10.11.2 not works on 10.11.0,10.11.1 i personally Tested) According to RehabMan our USB 3.0 chipset is unsupported so USB 3.0 will not works on 10.11 ,10.11.1 or any beta versions of El Capitan.I am uploading this kext which allow our USB 3.0 port to run properly but it is working partially (Read/Write is perfect but doesn't identified in System Information ).And Brightness needs IntelBacklight.kext and need to use Vanilla ACPIBacklight.kext. Now we need to fix 2 things HDMI VIDEO and AUDIO with HD Readeon 6770M my HDMI video works with Intel HD 3000 but not the Audio RehabMan-IntelBacklight-2015-1114.zip GenericUSBXHCI.kext.zip Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
