zornar
Hey there! I don't have much experience on this part.. I hope you can help me out. I installed 10.8.4 with #####. After the successful installation, the system will auto reboot... When the system is restarted I can choose there between my USB and HDD, but it doesn't matter if I type 1 or 2, it'll boot to the installer all over again so I can't procceed to the OS. I'm not really sure what to do, could anybody help me out here? Thank you very much Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/290946-boot-problem-first-time-hackintosh/ Share on other sites
Rogiervd
Type? You need to select the HDD with the arrow keys. If that's what you mean. nhoc_maruko9x
Does the installer install boot loader? If yes, you can plug out your USB an boot directly to hdd. zornar
I've just tried it, but it seems it doesn't work.. I don't get boot0: error btw, I get boot0: done.. But it is definitly a boot problem, since I can boot just fine from USB EDIT: Not sure if I should mention this, but if I boot from my usb I have to boot in Safe mode Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/290946-boot-problem-first-time-hackintosh/#findComment-1936184 Share on other sites
Rogiervd
I can't find anything really helping. Try reinstalling but make your bootable USB with this guide: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/280756-guide-the-all-in-one-guide-to-vanilla-os-x-including-chameleon-dsdt-for-beginners/ instead of the tonymac86 tools. Or you can use pandora's box http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/289758-pandoras-box-beta-2-testing/ Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/290946-boot-problem-first-time-hackintosh/#findComment-1936187 Share on other sites
