ameris_cyning
There was a time before Chameleon when we could gage Hackintosh usage numbers. Since Chameleon added SMBios options, that time has passed. I am wondering, is there any way to figure out the Hackintosh to Macintosh ratio? How about Hackintosh to Linux? I found one article via Google that was released way back in 2009, but I am hoping for something up-to-date Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/290162-hackintosh-user-share/ Share on other sites
3.14r2
Websites where benchmark results are posted could give you some pointers I guess. Another thing to note is the exception list in the Maverics DP. If Apple itself bothered to make one, then probably there is a significant number of Hackintoshes present. kosakgroove
I think there is not really a way to know how many of us there is. Since we use SMBIOS emulating a Mac itself, it's pretty hard to tell what's a Hackintosh or not Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/290162-hackintosh-user-share/#findComment-2213564 Share on other sites
