See for installation you must use USB 2.0 port of your laptop don't use USB 3.0 it will give you still waiting for root device if you have hp dv6 series laptop then you must use right USB port and do the following download AppleUSBEHCI.kext and placed it to myhackUSB/System/Library/Extension and myhackUSB/Extra/Extensions and boot with -v cpus=1 -f -x AppleUSBEHCI.kext.zip Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Thank you I have seen your image according to that do one thing before installing OS X delete kext from USB/System/Library/Extensions ati kext,nvidia kext ,and intel kext and make sure boot using -v cpus=1 -x if problem the is still exist then use another method of installation like manual restore method or ##### See this method This are the kext you have to delete I have installed Maverick on my HP !!! Did you make your files? org.chameleon... and SMbios??? Maverick posted these files, thank you Maverick.... but i prefer that you create your own files... use chameleon Wizard... NullCPUPM: http://olarila.com/files/10.6/PM/NullCPUPowerManagement.kext.zip Just install With Kext Wizard You really need cpus=1 to boot? At the end of installation i try to boot without cpus= 1. After install chameleon on HDD and put the files in Extra folder. If all ok i try to install FakeSMC and NullCPUM. Don't forget to declare in org.chameleon your SMBios... in Chameleon Wizard window in org.chameleon... tag, has a option to add(declare)your SMbios... Choose MacBookPro 8,1 as your SMbios... Can you boot without use cpus=1? If all ok i try to install FakeSMC and NullCPUM. Ok try that.... I gave to you link of these two files....
