colordeficiency
Not out yet? Currently I see Intel DG965 boards that claims to be GMA3000. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/28922-gma-3000/#findComment-198836 Share on other sites
mmk
Look on the intel site.... All you will see about GMA3000 family is a little movie... Anyway, the GMA in 965 mainboards are just overclocked GMA950 (from 400Mhz to 667Mhz). The real deal is GMAX3000 which is not done yet. And that is for desktops. For laptops, santa rosa is in Q2 2007... Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/28922-gma-3000/#findComment-198854 Share on other sites

Nothing new in there. No Intel Clear Video Technology, no unified shaders. So ... think about GMA950 in terms of performance, RAM and compatibility. (You probably have to add the device id ...) I would like also to know how better it is, I am expecting 5% improvements but until it's confirmed, I would wait if I would want to buy it...
