Apple's info: The 10.4.8 Update is recommended for all users and includes general operating system fixes, as well as specific fixes for the following applications and technologies: - connecting to wireless networks using the EAP-FAST protocol - Apple USB modem reliability - using OpenType fonts in Microsoft Word - compatibility with 3rd party USB hubs - scanner performance - RAW camera support - printing documents with Asian language names - performance of the Translation widget - broadband network performance - security updates Speaking of updates, has anyone else noticed their bountiful number this past week? iVoyou Posted September 29, 2006 Share Posted September 29, 2006 Hey, After I installed 10.4.8 on my MacBook I can't boot it up!?!?!?! I do have BootCamp and when I boot up it skips the OS X partition and goes to Windows. When you hold the Option key and select Macintosh HD it gives me a folder with a question mark. Any ideas? I have several Macs to update, but can't test because of the importance of the files I have stored.
