JCsHands
I am trying to install 10.9 on my Dell Vostro 270 with a GT610. I have installed Clover 1835 and if I have the Graphics Injection set to enabled. I can get as far as a grey screen with the spinning beach ball. Any idea what I can do to try to move past this point? In the past I have deleted all of the AppleIntel* graphics drivers, but when I try to boot into Single User mode now I start getting read-only errors, even when I mount the drive as writable. ileikcaek
I have the same issue with the grey screen, specs as below, it just sits there with a grey screen and beachball/pinwheel indefinitely and doesn't load the menu bar or installer window. It's odd because Mountain Lion runs flawlessly on my system. Klonkrieger2
I had the same problem with my quadro 5000 but with chameleon. booting in safe mode (-x) helped, so i could install 10.9. 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/289076-spinning-beach-ball-on-grey-screen/#findComment-1922845 Share on other sites

JCsHands
I finally gave up, used MyHack. I had to remove the AppleIntel, AMD and ATI video drivers, but once removed it worked just fine. I would still like to use Clover, but for now this works. theconnactic
Usually the SBBOD when running the installer is solved by these two kexts. All the best!
