PoisonApple666
doesn't look like they've done much with Finder {still corrupted graphics when previewing an image} or open CL {still somewher between 10 and 20 percent of the ML results on that ocean wavey thing} ...so ... for me at any rate....just treading water. nyolc8
why they not let clean install? I would prefer clean install these DPs, not upgrading the buggy OS to something... also, I'm losing my hope for a new UI... edit: updated, everything works like on DP2 (so bluetooth is working but can't disable it), and I have a weird issue:when I start OSX, after the boot screen, I get an empty grey screen with the mouse cursor (like before so this is normal), but then my screen fading into black and immediately back to the grey screen, then fading into black again, and fading to the grey screen again, then desktop comes in. I checked console and this is what I found: 2013.07.09. 10:48:17,264 WindowServer[88]: Display 0x745e1684: GL mask 0x1; bounds (0, 0)[1920 x 1080], 96 modes available Main, Active, on-line, enabled, boot, OpenGL-accel, Vendor 9d1, Model 790b, S/N 5445, Unit 0, Rotation 0 UUID 0x9a99f8e5187a21628bb7f37d744b6e1b, ColorProfile { 2, "BenQ E2200HD"} 2013.07.09. 10:48:17,264 WindowServer[88]: GLCompositor: GL renderer id 0x01021a07, GL mask 0x00000001, accelerator 0x00003e43, unit 0, caps QEX|MIPMAP, vram 512 MB texture max 8192, viewport max {8192, 8192}, extensions FPRG|NPOT|GLSL|FLOAT 2013.07.09. 10:48:17,556 WindowServer[88]: Display 0x745e1684: Unit 0: Startup Mode 1920 x 1080, CGSThirtytwoBitColor, Resolution 1, ioModeID 0x43e, ioModeDepth 0x1, IOReturn 0x0 2013.07.09. 10:48:17,557 WindowServer[88]: Display mode changed 2013.07.09. 10:48:17,569 WindowServer[88]: Display 0x745e1684: GL mask 0x1; bounds (0, 0)[1920 x 1080], 96 modes available Main, Active, on-line, enabled, boot, OpenGL-accel, Vendor 9d1, Model 790b, S/N 5445, Unit 0, Rotation 0 UUID 0x9a99f8e5187a21628bb7f37d744b6e1b, ColorProfile { 2, "BenQ E2200HD"} 2013.07.09. 10:48:17,569 WindowServer[88]: GLCompositor: GL renderer id 0x01021a07, GL mask 0x00000001, accelerator 0x00003e43, unit 0, caps QEX|MIPMAP, vram 512 MB texture max 8192, viewport max {8192, 8192}, extensions FPRG|NPOT|GLSL|FLOAT 2013.07.09. 10:48:18,698 WindowServer[88]: Display 0x745e1684: Unit 0; ColorProfile { 1, "Default(sRGB IEC61966-2.1)"}; TransferFormula (1.000000, 1.000000, 1.000000) ..... 2013.07.09. 10:48:19,727 WindowServer[88]: Display 0x745e1684: GL mask 0x1; bounds (0, 0)[1920 x 1080], 96 modes available Main, Active, on-line, enabled, boot, OpenGL-accel, Vendor 9d1, Model 790b, S/N 5445, Unit 0, Rotation 0 UUID 0x9a99f8e5187a21628bb7f37d744b6e1b, ColorProfile { 1, "Default(sRGB IEC61966-2.1)"} 2013.07.09. 10:48:19,727 WindowServer[88]: GLCompositor: GL renderer id 0x01021a07, GL mask 0x00000001, accelerator 0x00003e43, unit 0, caps QEX|MIPMAP, vram 512 MB texture max 8192, viewport max {8192, 8192}, extensions FPRG|NPOT|GLSL|FLOAT ..... 2013.07.09. 10:48:20,007 WindowServer[88]: Display 0x745e1684: Unit 0: Startup Mode 1920 x 1080, CGSThirtytwoBitColor, Resolution 1, ioModeID 0x43e, ioModeDepth 0x1, IOReturn 0x0 2013.07.09. 10:48:20,007 WindowServer[88]: Display mode changed 2013.07.09. 10:48:20,018 WindowServer[88]: Display 0x745e1684: GL mask 0x1; bounds (0, 0)[1920 x 1080], 96 modes available Main, Active, on-line, enabled, boot, OpenGL-accel, Vendor 9d1, Model 790b, S/N 5445, Unit 0, Rotation 0 UUID 0x9a99f8e5187a21628bb7f37d744b6e1b, ColorProfile { 1, "Default(sRGB IEC61966-2.1)"} 2013.07.09. 10:48:20,018 WindowServer[88]: GLCompositor: GL renderer id 0x01021a07, GL mask 0x00000001, accelerator 0x00003e43, unit 0, caps QEX|MIPMAP, vram 512 MB texture max 8192, viewport max {8192, 8192}, extensions FPRG|NPOT|GLSL|FLOAT As you can it changes display mode multiple times and recognize the display multiple times. HBP
I got the update, it forced the rev up to (13A510d) without any notes to the changes, still not ibooks or any other noted changes, still to soon to see if there are any system speed ups or hiccups. iawval
Installed DP3 via software update, no problem, all perfect, very nice, pretty boring (not really), fixed some permission problem I had (I could see the extensions list in System Information only accessing it as Root), complains about unsigned osxfuse, but only at first launch, glshacker codesampler pack all OK up to OpenGL 3.3 (that's what the Gts250 can do I think), Apple Software Renderer up to OpenGL 4.1. Of course AE CS6 still doesn't work, I still think it's a Kernel access problem, not a graphics one.
Captain Dunsel
anybody care to share the DP3 iobluetoothfamily.kext because for some reason mine is not loading after i put the 10.8.4 version in DP2. Thanks

Henry2010
The new tag feature doesn't fit my workflow. is there any terminal command to switch it back to the old style? if not, would anyone mind submitting a request to Apple? Thanks

AppleSMC errors have nothing to do with AppleSMC but FakeSMC. Look up FakeSMC from 10.7.2-.3 and you will see the same thing...

Rampage Dev
@Rampage AppleHDA patch support for GA-X79S-UP5 on maverick ? Yes. Read my blog as everything that you are looking for about x79 support and Mav changes is there. I hate repeating myself... I knew it, but that just gave me 1 Pstate.. the Higher multiplier.. That has nothing to do with the kext but the boot.plist. Generate P states comes to mind...
