My ticket on sourceforge was accepted, pretty quickly...

Duno why my PSD keep crashing when I try exporting my design to *.svg, using illustrator I was able to.. but I lost shadow effect.

That's strange...

EDIT: That ended up just a material green circle with white logo, no outer circle. I am not sure but I think I may like that even better. Simple. The SVG scales so much better, the PNG didn't look good at any other resolution.

EDIT2: Posted what the result was. I think maybe I like the missing shadow drop still though.

EDIT3: That's 50% scale of the SVG. Imagine the PNG at that, not pretty.

Nah, the project icon is just ugly unless it looks good wrapped in a white block.

EDIT: The block is 100x100 but the icon is 90x90...

So, this happened when I was trying to upload / update theme on the repo. What's going on? Thanks.

Sourceforge is migrating servers.

any one knows where is store the Embed theme icon in Clover ?

It depends on which image they are in different places. rEFIt_UEFI\libeg\egemb_font.c, rEFIt_UEFI\libeg\egemb_images.c, and rEFIt_UEFI\libeg\scroll_images.c.

Well, it maybe sounds funny especially after I've uploaded many themes on the repo.

But this was my question since long time ago (oh not so long, just 2 years ago when I started using Clover for 1st time);

"Which one is Clover official logo, left or right one?". I remember it changed soon after SF used a new web interface.

Thanks.

#EDIT: Not so important bcoz user could replace it to another one, or even delete it (I mean, logo.png on Clover theme). But, I just wanna standarize my uploaded themes on the repo so it's not confusing some users.

Back to my 1st question about Clover logo then;

How if still keeping similar Clover design (since it was very popular among users, and also contained histories), but only make it a little bit simpler?  :)

(My concept | Left: App icon, Right: Logo. Oops, sorry about both different coloring)

Have you guys tried to play with "Matte Color" to eleminate the black border while exporting to PNG-8?

I'm not a Pro at all #LoL..  :P I even need more than 5 months to understand what "MatteColor" does.

Not so bad for the result, but my question now is;

"How to enable custom size (increase / decrease) for an Entry icon when it' s selected on Clover GUI?"

From SS below; Unselected os_icons size are: 128px; while I want selected one (on this case is os_cap.icns) becomes 120px (smaller) or 136px (bigger). Thanks.

Refer to original post, its about my propose to accept user custom TransparentBackgroundPixel (matte color) to eliminate dirty dots surround the transparent image edge/border/glow/shadow to be more smoothly blended into current background.

"How to enable custom size (increase / decrease) for an Entry icon when it' s selected on Clover GUI?"

I might be wrong/outdated here, but Clover still does not have such as "hover state" OS icons implementation in GUI (instead of just generic selection icon). If so, please do not waste your time on it, because it will not work.

About your screenshot (will assumed that you play with selected icon and not hover OS icon), Im a bit confuse here. Hows the final result should be expected here?

- If you have selected icon without glow there, sure it will resulting smaller icon compare to all other active icons (unselected). Isnt that normal?

- I saw you have 1px rounded black border on active icons which I highly suspect/labeled as dirty pixel that must be eliminate as I previously mentioned. (I thought you have same case as Rico here).

** IMHO, why you dont just contact apianti to start developing for upcoming new theme format on v3? I think you have enough to coddling Clover v2 users with your recent awesome works :)

** Honesty I lost track with recent Clover, and any of my previously comments may irrelevant anymore, sorry.

** Mod: regarding "hover icons / other" please do edit my previously post here / anywhere else to avoid confusions.

Hmmb, I think I missed this key from ur prev. explanation; (#EDIT: Marked as obsolete)

<dict>
      <key>MatteColor</key>
      <string>0xd39204ff</string>
</dict>

.. then I was just playing with MatteColor on an image editor when exporting to 8-bit png, fortunately it was satisfying me.

About "Hover State" is (actually) not so important, but at least I got the answer for my curiousity.

Theme's "Screenshot"; yes.. unselected icons use dark OuterGlow, while selected one uses InnerGlow (with onTop transparent Selection_big.png) so it looks smaller when selected. I attach my theme below, Thanks  :)

Please ignore current snippets, its a part of my prev propose which is unimplemented (wont affect to Clover).

I did test your theme. No doubt, its a gorgeous theme indeed!

But I found 'darker' background while selected. Idk if you do this in purpose or not.

Most important here, Im not currently complaining for anyone works here and keep up good work!

What an eagle eye!  :rolleyes: thanks. About 'darker' background; I don't realize it when previewing with my Display; I think it caused of irregular "Tile" pattern. I'm considering to use a solid backgound color instead.
