Notice:

If you feel that default background is too bright and makes your eyes hurt  :lol:, an alternate darker one will be available in the next release. Thanks.

Uhmmb, but it seems that @SavageUS could show it on his mach, on theme icons folder however there's only "os_suse.icns", did he just rename it to "os_opensuse.icns"..? Need a confirmation from him first..

FYI, "Crystal" theme has been updated to v1.1 with some minor changes below:

~ Using a new logo (no longer looks like Spongebob's bubble  :lol: to matches theme's concept)

~ Refined Background UI, enjoy!

@Matgen84 I'll post my config for suse shortly. I'm pretty sure I just created a custom entry and pointed it to the right icon

<dict>
<key>Disabled</key>
<false/>
<key>FullTitle</key>
<string>OpenSUSE</string>
<key>Ignore</key>
<false/>
<key>Image</key>
<string>icons\os_suse.icns</string>
<key>Path</key>
<string>\EFI\opensuse\grubx64.efi</string>
<key>Type</key>
<string>Linux</string>
<key>Volume</key>
<string>2318531C-E74C-48F1-93D3-3E4ED2FF9C63</string>
<key>VolumeType</key>
<string>Internal</string>
</dict>

@Matgen84: Wait, I see on "~/src/edk2/Clover/rEFIt_UEFI/entry_scan/loader.c" there's entry for "opensuse", so how if just renaming "os_suse.icns" to "os_opensuse.icns" w/o Icon Custom Entry change, still won't correspond the right icon? But sorry, plz try it ur self bcoz I don't have it installed on my mach. Thanks.  :)

@EDIT: It doesn't work; confirmed by @SavageUS. IDK why...

You can use this to get your UUID where X is the disk and y is partition.

diskutil info diskXsy | grep UUID

Thanks for your reply

I just looked at the original file "~/src/edk2/Clover/rEFIt_UEFI/entry_scan/loader.c". Opensuse exist at lines 89, 103. Line 107 is a little bit strange for neophyte like me. I don't understand why auto-detected not working.

Yet another quality design. Great work man, thanks  :)

Unfortunately I'm out of quota for positive votes  :rofl:

@Badruzeus

I have a question, how do you edit the theme.plist file besides the conventional tools that are inside the clover configurator? Is there any special tool for doing this or you just edit the theme.plist yourself?

Oh, good question... to be honest on theme.plist I just edited some values manually (using @chris1111's Movies *.plist as an example).. just bcoz my Clover Configurator.app becomes hang immediately when I select "Theme Editor", IDK why.. (?) my latest installed CC v4.49.0 still gives same error as well.  :angel:

Xcode and other Plist editors don't have a GUI for theme.plist's speciall values, I personally use PlistEdit Pro when I want to edit plist's but what I'm looking for is an app with a GUI and specially for creating themes for clover. I don't know lot's of values for theme's plist so ... ^_^

Well I'm not sure what that means either but you can try removing "org.altervista.mackie100projects.Clover-Configurator.plist" from "~/Library/Preferences" and see if it helps.

It still doesn't work, previously I also cleaned all Clover related files (rc.script, nvram, Library..) and even formatting my EFI Partition. Not sure, but it just works with nv_disable=1 boot-arg. Uhmmmb..

It's a long shot but give this kext a try: https://github.com/m...ValFix/releases

it needs to be installed in the /L/E
