Hopefully someone can help....

I used a bought copy of ML from the appstore and myhack to get the OSX to a 8 gb usb

I formatted the HDD for both windows and OSX got ML on it

downloaded ##### installed GraphicsEnabler=No(couldn't get past the apple logo to install used boot flag first that worked Installed not a problem)

Universal audio from #####

that's all I had done in ##### so far

when I installed the osx I installed whatever kexts it comes with I didn't know (just learning) I had

Extension folder

AppleACPIP2NUB.kext

ApplePS2Controller.kext

FakeSMC.kext

Ispcidrv.kext

NullCPUPowerManagement.kext

Patched_10.7_AppleRTC.kext

I was told by another guy off another fourm that I should try this

Make a copy of FakeSMC.Kext and save it to the desktop

Then delete them all in the Extension Folder

Download Vostro 3550 Kext Pack ML 8.2

Put AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext to desktop

Go to System/Library/Caches/com.apple.kext.caches/Startup,And delete everything inside there

Open up Kext Wizard

Choose Installation Tab

Drop both Kexts on desktop in installion tab

click install in System/Library/Extension

Click Install

Click on Maintenance Tab

click System/Library/Entensions,Repair Premissions and Repair Cache

Click Execute

Also tried USBBusFix=Yes

Didn't work could someone try helping me out please.......

Thanks in advanced

I don't really know what you mean... I think 32 bit or 64 bit. To find out which version you need to right click Computer and click Properties and you see 64 bits or 32 bit or aren't you running windows

1708 is not the latest BIOS for that board, and don't follow the instructions on the ASUS forum, it's an outdated post from 2007.

Don't you have the manual for your motherboard? Look:

Rule number one: know your hardware.

Get the modified 1805 BIOS from here:

Ok but I really don't understand that link I'm sorry

So you have the file on a usb formatted as FAT32 or FAT. you plug it in and reboot your computer, go into bios and first press F5 to load default settings. Restart again and go into bios press F3 and select easy flash. Wait 20sec and the usb should appear now select the .cap file and it will flash the bios, don't touch the computer or if it's taking long don't power off! When done unplug usb and restart. in bios. Then you need to reset the chipset with C.P.R (have to search around in the bios on that one). load defaults again with F5 and set AHCI and others settings that you need back,

EDIT: Use the way of Gringo Vermelho much more easy.

The DSDT that will enable sleep for him is made for bios 1708 that's why.
