k3nny
Is it possible to view app shortcuts in Launchpad for apps that are placed outside of the system drive? I store my user profile folder and some big apps on another hard drive but they do not appear in Launchpad. As a workaround I can reach them quickly with Spotlight but it would still be great to have them all accessible in one place. Is there some kind of environment variable that can be changed? k3nny
Thanks! I will take a look later. Meanwhile I found a settings database file at "~/Library/Application Support/Dock" which contains a table named "app_sources". Mine got two entries with unique UUIDs. However I can't assign them to anything I know.
