trav1085
I have a Dell Inspiron 1150 laptop, which when I tried to install realized that I need to the set the UMA memory to 8MB, instead of 1MB. But that laptop shows a different BIOS setup than my dimension desktop. It has limited settings and no way to change any memory values. How do I upgrade my BIOS, does the latest FlashBIOS have the ability to change UMA memory? Or is there an alternative to doing so.
Rammjet
How do I upgrade my BIOS Go to the Dell website. Find the firmware downloads. If the BIOS version there is newer than yours, download it and run the installer.
trav1085
It is newer and I just updated. But I realized that It doesn't make much of a difference. It adds a password options section but that's all.
