Sridhar
Dear Mieze - many thanks for the great work you are doing for all of us on the RTL8111. My RIG is the Gigabyte BRIX 4770R. I have had the same issues everyone has reported. Stable with 1.1.3 and tx interrupts for versions 1.2. That was until now. I just am happy to report no issues so far on using the version you posted last RTL8111- V1.2.2-dev3. Speeds are great and no drops I am using your kext as is without any changes to the info.plist and the clover install (the kext is sitting in the KEXTS/10.9 folder in EFI rather than S/L/E). The NIC also is configured automatic and no manual changes in the ethernet settings my log 7/13/14 9:02:40.000 AM kernel[0]: Ethernet [RealtekRTL8111]: Disable PCIe ASPM. 7/13/14 9:02:40.000 AM kernel[0]: Ethernet [RealtekRTL8111]: EEE support enabled. 7/13/14 9:02:40.000 AM kernel[0]: Ethernet [RealtekRTL8111]: TCP/IPv4 segmentation offload enabled. 7/13/14 9:02:40.000 AM kernel[0]: Ethernet [RealtekRTL8111]: TCP/IPv6 checksum offload enabled. 7/13/14 9:02:40.000 AM kernel[0]: Ethernet [RealtekRTL8111]: Version 1.2.2 using interrupt mitigate value 0xcf58. 7/13/14 9:02:40.000 AM kernel[0]: Ethernet [RealtekRTL8111]: RTL8168G/8111G: (Chipset 20) at 0xffffff81e5741000, 94:de:80:8f:8b:a9 7/13/14 9:02:43.000 AM kernel[0]: Ethernet [RealtekRTL8111]: Link up on en0, 1-Gigabit, Full-duplex, flow-control I will report if there are any issues. d123c
Mieze, you are doing a good work! I test this 1.2.2-dev3 version and my connection became stable and faster than before. Here, you have my kernel log file. http://ge.tt/api/1/files/8t4zpOn1/9/blob?download Thank you very much. Dioclecio Ps. One question: Do you know how to put "Built in" into ethernet with clover? Thank you again.

Mieze
As the first results with version 1.2.2 dev3 are promising, everybody is encouraged to give it a try, in particular those users having trouble with version 1.2.0 and below. The archive includes the source as well as prebuilt binaries (debug and release). d123c
Hi Mieze, during these days, the driver is working fast and stable. I defined the FixLAN_2000 bit as true in my config.list but the built-in is not allowed. Do you have some suggestion? Should I define this DSDT.aml file with some special injections? Thanks for your help. Yours, Dioclecio
Mieze
@Dioclecio: On my machine there was no need to set the "built-in" property manually. It was set automatically for en0. Maybe your system is different, please check with IORegistryExplorer. In case you need further assistance with Clover please post in the corresponding section of the forum. Mieze
@ hello mieze i used your RTL8111 driver. thank you for your hard work. i have a problem in yosemite beta1. it's lost connection. after i test download, upload in http://www.speedtest.net/, i lost internet connection. for using internet, i need to unplug internet cable and plug internet cable here is my log RealtekRTL8xxx.kext is no problem. i want to use your network driver. thank you in advance. Technically speaking the driver is working as expected but it gets flooded with packets eating up all the available buffer memory. This is definitely not a driver issue. Mieze thank you for your reply. then why do RealtekRTL8xxx.kext work without this problem in yosemite beta1? i tested your driver to good work in lion. but after in mavericks, it has a problem which is about connection lost. can we expect to fix this problem? Mieze
then why do RealtekRTL8xxx.kext work without this problem in yosemite beta1? Maybe because it is simply dropping packets, but this is not the way a driver should be designed. i tested your driver to good work in lion. but after in mavericks, it has a problem which is about connection lost. can we expect to fix this problem? There is nothing to fix inside the driver. It works as it should. I had a few users reporting this issue while others with nearly the same configuration have no problems at all. I ran a lot of test and wasn't able to reproduce this behavior. Therefore I'm quite sure that this is due to a rampant application or, more probably, a badly configured system that should be fixed. gersio
hi, i've installed you 1.2.2dev3 version on lion 10.3.1 but system preferences don't show any network adapter. Mieze
@gersio: Get a copy of Xcode 4.6.3 and build from source with the 10.7 SDK selected as the base SDK. For the debug version choose "Build" from the Product menu [Cmd + B]. In order to get to the built kext use the right mouse button as shown below and choose "Show in Finder" For a release build choose "Product" -> "Build for" -> "Archiving". In order to locate the product use the same method as with the debug build but go to the parent folder where you will find another folder called "Release" in which you will find the release version of the kext. Use your favorite method to install it. Good luck! Mieze

MilesTEG1
Hello, Does it work with Yosemite ?I use clover to boot. I put the kext into EFI/Clover/kext/10.10/ and EFI/Clover/kext/other/, but I'm not sure the driver works.Do I have to remove IONetworkingFamily.kext from the same folders ?And do I have to let IOUserEthernet.kext in /SL/E/ ? Thanks for you help.Miles
Onixs
Hi Mieze Im not really into hardware stuff so i will ask... I have this 2 P8H61 Asus board, both are on the same bios version. Using your driver, one is detected as chipset 16 which i have bonjour working. But the other one is detected as chipset 17 and bonjour is not working. Is it possible that 2 identical boards could have a difference in ethernet chip? How so? How could i be able to fix bonjour of chipset 17? I can do it manually via "Connect to Server" though. Thanks
MilesTEG1
Hello, I want to report that the 1.2.2-dev3 works great under Mavericks 10.9.4 with Clover boot loader, but don't works correctly with Yosemite Beta (the public, not DPx).
