GhostRaider
When do you see these messages? I mean I only boot in Legacy Mode where I just see the Apple Logo. You guys see these messages in Verbose boot? Edit: Looking at Console I can see these same messages. Well I'm not sure what these messages are but as everyone says, it works fine. Unless the reason is because the kexts aren't signed? @Petervanakelyen I get this feeling that something is wrong with your installation. I mean there is no reason for those kexts to cause a kernel panic. I'm assuming your hardware id is 00468086 right? Usually this happens when kexts are corrupted. As you said, maybe some kexts are missing their info.plist file and you may have to make a new installation of OS X.

I wasn't sure what to call the backtrace messages on boot, but as other have these too (and OS X works fine), it's not a kernel panic & I was simply incorrect with my wording. I still wonder what causes my install to hang after loading AppleIntelHDGraphicsFB.kext though. EDIT: The alternative framebuffer kext works! Native res, full QE/CI support,... I should've tried this sooner.

Judging by your questions, you will need to learn about hackintoshing from the ground up. You cannot attempt this until you know the basics of hackintoshing. There are topics in the InsanelyMac forum that can give you some knowledge on how things work. Google can also help you as well as YouTube. You also have to know the hardware that your computer has. warraisraw
Hi all, in my case Mavericks run flawlessly (no lags) and better than Mountain Lion. Only issue is wake from sleep, apart HDMI output that all know, everything else is ok (Wifi, LAN, Audio, Backlight, USB 2.0, Webcam, DVD-RW, Battery, Keyboard and Trackpad, Intel HD Graphics).Regards. sartemd174
Everything seems working fine for me and other people. Not sure what's happening with your hackintosh. Did you do anything differently with Mavericks? No, i exactly did the same things that i did in other systems (snow leopard, lion, mountain lion) but Mavericks works worse than all. Even Finder loads files a lot slower than it was in mountain lion (i need to wait for 5-6 sec to see the files in finder after boot system). So i back to my 10.8.5 system and i will wait for better version of Mavericks.

I used applehda+dsdt inject(hdef) on 10.8-10.8.4, but when i upgrade to 10.8.5 this kext stop working at all so i had to use voodohda. Anyway, can you share your 10.9 apple hda (or maybe some dsdt hacks for that?) to let me test it on 10.8.5?

Jugz
I would like to post my success story for everyone. I took a year off from the InsanelyMac community and when I returned, there was a patch for 1st Generation Intel! Bravo to all who developed it. It took three different combinations and restarts and finally got it. I used the Linux Dump Anal-yser method with the X1, LVDS, 10.8.x, and Alternative options in version 0.7. Now to questions: 1. According to Intel's page for my processor (see sig for details) I have a 2 core 4 thread processor. I have patched the kernel so I do not have to use cpus=1 and it boots but "System Profiler" still says 1 processor, 2 core. Why does it do this? 2. Now relevant to thread question: the Intel website also says that I have 500MB of Graphics memory but with this method, it only shows up as 288MB. Why is this and how can I make it the full 500MB? Extra info: I boot with this: ncpi=0x2000 PCIRootUID=0 My chameleon boot plists is this: <key>Boot Graphics</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>EthernetBuiltIn</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Graphics Mode</key> <string>1366x768x32</string> <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Kernel</key> <string>mach_kernel2</string> <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string>npci=0x2000 PCIRootUID=0</string> <key>Legacy Logo</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Quiet Boot</key> <string>No</string> <key>Timeout</key> <string>5</string> <key>UseKernelCache</key> <string>No</string> And some pics (for proof): Thanks again for any help guys!
