spakk
Still having issues trying to get the os to install. The installer sometimes loads up but after i start installing it panics. I can not find anything online in terms of the error message: smc smc :: Notification Published handler Error: failed smcWritekey NTOK probably it is due to lack of BIOS settings. Did you set the BIOS setting AHCI (Enabled)? if not, then change this setting and boot your system again. or install the last FakeSMC.kext Edited November 30, 2013 by spakk

tragediana150
Using Chameleon 2266 > App Store "Unknown Error"... Have not figured out how to install clover, should spend some time with it. You can copy the Clover to your USB or burn to CD. And then you can boot with it. P.S. In my case and my mobo it's not working at all, but you can try Good luck

+ira
Hello everyone, i'm trying really hard to make my PATA devices to work with Mountain Lion/Mavericks but it seems to be a no dice task. I've tried a lot of kexts but the majority of them are 64bit kexts and when they seem to load, the devices don't show up (DVD in this case), tried DSDT patching but no method seem to work here, with some of these methods i can see the tree in IOReg gets bigger (see attachments). Anyway, if anyone can help me it would be amazing. Many thanks, cheers... Edit: Never mind guys, it seems that i've got it working cleaning up my DSDT and spoofing the ID's of IDE Device. Anyway, thanks

Mountain Lion 10.8.xx or Mavericks 10.9 ? should you want to boot Mavericks then using the correct kernel, as you use currently the Mountain Lion kernel (xnu 2050.18.24)! for Mavericks; take the last AMD_Kernel by Andy ---> mach_kernel_rc4 or recent Amd_Kernel of Bronya -> mach_kernel_beta_rc4_fix, both kernels work very well! regardless of it you should remove AppleEfiRuntime.kext and AppleCPUPowermanagement.kext from System/ Library / Extensions then fix the permissions, then boot the system with; npci=0x2000 PCIRootUID=0 DSDT=NO GraphicsEnabler=YES -v -f (if you have a DSDT.aml in Extra , than boot without DSDT!
